The grounds are like a tropical paradise. You can hear the sounds of the jungle from your room. The breakfast for a fee was exceptional, and the value was better than anything in town. The secure parking was large and easy to park in. We can't wait to come back!

We liked this beautiful and peaceful place in nature. Birds and roosters will wake you up early in the morning which made us rich and relaxed. here you live with nature. Here there are horses, cows, goats, iguanas, many different birds.
It is very safe and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Every morning host prepared a drink for us (coffee or hot water for tea).
it is located 10 minutes by car from the city, which is great. There is also a gas station very close (3 min by car) where the prices are normal and they have plant-based milk. 5 min by car (straight only) there is a small open market where you can buy vegetables and fruits. Also very normal prices.
The house has a common kitchen and a terrace. All archaeological sights are very easily accessible from this place.
Yes, the road is bumpy, but you are in the countryside of Valladolid.

The tranquility. Old school like camping with all the amenities. Very close to walk to the beach about 5 minutes. Great restaurant across the street. Fridge microwave and good shower pressure. Eco friendly. Cabana up front of property has cooking equipment to cook food for yourself. Use of bikes and beach chairs to the beach etc. Great value. Pool has shallow end and nice and cool to relax. Very friendly staff.

This place was amazing, just what we were looking for. Everything was as expected and much more. The rooms and place is very clean and beautiful, and the owner is beyond kind. She led us through a holistic activity in the morning, even made us cappuccinos and gave us bananas. Everyone there was super friendly, and the place has the best vibe. We will def be back!! also bonus, there was the cutest baby ever!

Located next to the Uxmal ruins. Only a three minute walk to the entrance. The pools were nice. Easy parking. Note: When we booked, we thought we were staying at the Hacienda Uxmal Plantation and Museum. We were actually put in the Uxmal Lodge which must be a sister hotel. That was fine, because the Uxmal Lodge is closer to the ruins. It makes the reviews confusing though, as some are for the Lodge and some are for the Hacienda which I think is the more upscale hotel.
Walking distance from Uxmal archeological site. Very helpful staff and wonderful building. I would have loved it if there was an option for dinner , but the Lodge which is nearby covers that need. Would definitely recommend
Loved staying at this lodge in the jungle. It is located about 10-15 minutes from Valladolid but easy to get in and out of the city. Harry and Ahidel were great hosts and there was a communal space to meet other travellers poolside and at breakfast. The breakfast each morning was amazing and anything we needed they took care of us. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area. Valladolid was also an incredible Mexican city to visit.
Harry and Ahidel were the kindest and loveliest people!! You can see that they are giving their best to make your stay most comfortable and enjoyable. The lodge is better in every way than any 4-star Hotel we have been staying at!! Impeccable breakfast (fresh, tasty and lots), Modern rooms with the best interior and very clean, perfect hosts and staff… Not many people there so it’s like staying with friends. They even have a bar with a great bartender to mix you some cocktails. Most highly recommended!
The breakfast was complete and satisfying. Luis the concierge was extremely helpful and moved us to a room that met our expectations and was very comfortable. The Lodge is just feet away from the entrance to Uxmal. The grounds are lovely and the swimming pools are great after a day at the ruins.

The location is absolutely perfect and within a stone throw of the archeological site. When booking the Lodge, I had no idea that a ride in an old Landrover through the old plantation was included. Driving by myself and with Luis as the guide, this was a fantastic experience! At this time, I also learned that the Lodge has been visited by a number of important people including Che Guevara! That made me appreciate the place even more. Thanks so much Luis!
Being low season, they upgraded us to the Lodge location, very convenient for Uxmal (opposite to the entrance). The room, with a spa bath; the plunge in the swimming pools. The restaurant and the staff.
Unlike some eco lodges, the all-women staff take their mission to provide eco-friendly accommodation seriously, sourcing as much as possible locally including both food and interior decor, and the attached cafe offers both vegetarian and vegan food options. Naming the rooms after districts in the town and putting a short history of them in your room is a nice touch. Lovely rooftop terrace, very comfortable bed. Laundry service. Off-street parking.
