Located 6.6 km from Tissa Wewa, Ranakeliya Lodge - Yala provides accommodation with a garden, a terrace and room service for your convenience. We had a great stay in Ranakeliya lodge. We stayed in a tent which felt like we were still in the park. Everything had a great taste for design and was very clean. The breakfast was just lovely and cherry on the top! Highly recommended

With pool views, Tranquil Wild is located in Tanamalwila and has a restaurant, room service, snack bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. Tranquil wild lived up to its name. It is right next to a lake with water buffalo in it. There are heaps of birds including peacocks and hornbills in the garden plus lots of monkeys, squirrels and lizards around. The garden is huge with mature trees and plenty of space. You can walk beside the lake and do a little exploring, really nice at sun rise or sunset. The swimming pool was excellent for a bit of relaxing. Anne and Amal were fantastic hosts answering all our questions and organizing our safari and other activities. I recommend having Amal on your safari. He is full of info and has a big camera lens to get those close ups the cellphones can't do. Their safaris go into block 5 and 6 which are a lot quieter ( in terms of jeep numbers) than the main Yala block 1. We saw elephants, crocodiles, monkeys, lots of birds, and 2 leopards. Also if you have the chance to have dinner and bonfire down by the lake shore then do it, we got lucky with a stunning night and full moon rising. The food, including breakfast was really good. If you are looking for somewhere to relax with nature then this is it.

Situated in Tanamalwila, 34 km from Udawalawe National Park and 26 km from Tissa Wewa, Thanamal-villa features accommodation with air conditioning and access to a garden with a barbecue. The location is right in the center of the town yet very calm and quite. The owner was very friendly amd helpful.

Offering mountain views, Elephant Arcade in Tissamaharama offers accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a terrace and a restaurant. wonderful stay, we were welcomed like family. very comfortable room with fan and air conditioning, large, in very good condition and large and very clean bathroom. Quiet place immersed in nature, pleasant swimming pool. perfect if you have a vehicle. otherwise the manager can take you to the bus stop by tuktuk, practical. The meals were excellent and plentiful especially the curry and Sriyani make also special dishes for my children.

Featuring a terrace, Tree Tops Yala is a villa, set in Yala. It provides free private parking. There is a seating area and a kitchen complete with an oven and a microwave. The house was ideal to entertain a large group of people. The location was quiet and peaceful. Appu and his family were wonderful hosts. They prepared all of our meals and everything was delicious.

Providing pool views, Yala Leopard Lodge in Yala provides accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a terrace. Everything! The room was perfect, the deck for relaxing lovely. The food was so good and the staff excellent. My only regret is not staying longer. The ideal would be early morning visit to the national park come back and relax, swim, lazing on the deck and then out in the evening. I am shocked we were the only people staying. Our little secret bit of paradise.
