Mara’s tents include a wooden, 4-poster bed surrounded by a mosquito net. All have a modern, private bathroom with a double vanity, shower, and flush toilets. Tea and coffee making facilities are in each. So special place in nice location on the Talek river, many animals around , hippos and crocodiles monkeys and more. The rooms are very clean and have all the facilities you will need. The food is superb. And the staff are very friendly and always happy to help on all what needs. It’s not my first time in Mara but it’s the best place I have ever stay in Mara.

The place is unique , all of the staff are really taking care of you , which is very important in a such extreme territory. The drivers are fully experienced and you get to see animals from a super really close distance. The best thing is that you feel safe in all times , since the camp is literally 10 min from the park . In all of terms this is a must visit ! Thank you guys , it was a lifetime experience!

The services were there without being overbearing, and it felt like you were the only two people in the resort. I have traveled millions of miles and stayed in hundreds of hotels and I would put Laurel Plains amongst the top two or three I’ve ever say that we will be back with our family experience and the knowledge gained from the guides was the best part of our Africa trip.

Mara River Camp is located on the North West boundary of the Maasai Mara National Reserve overlooking the Mara River. It features a swimming pool and garden.

Each tent features a patio with a view of the Mara River. It comes with a seating area and the private bathroom includes a shower. The staff at the camp are great and very responsive to any need of your including food drinks and medication when we needed it! The Manager Eziekel, Aliche at the head office were outstanding in helping us make multiple changes to our Itinerary! The food was top class Indian and continental cuisine, the tents were comfortable with a hot pressure shower in the mornings and evenings an invaluable luxury in the bush!

Ashnil Mara Camp is situated in the Maasai Mara National Reserve overlooking the Mara River, famous for the wildebeest migration. It features a swimming pool and a souvenir shop.

Activities available at the camp include guided nature walks, balloon safaris, game drives and in-house cultural activities. everything it’s absolutely beautiful, the hotel , location, staff are amazing, super friendly and nothing is a bother. we arrived late day one (our own fault) and on leaving they had a packed lunch ready for us to take as they said we had missed one of our lunches! if your looking for a authentic stay inside the Masai Mara park with the most fantastic setting wrapped around you then 100% recommend the Ashnil. we were a family of 5 - all adults and everyone adored it. lovely big swimming pool with sun lounge area ..

The view from my room was beautiful 😍..I didn't want to leave mara..thanks you Daniel, chef Patrick, our tour guide Patrick and Tande, this guys made our stay very homely.
