The swimming pool is super too and the breakfast and dinner was delicious and not to forget the homemade banana cake,mjummie. Located at Kilifi Creek, just 3 km outside of town and surrounded by a community forest, Distant Relatives Ecolodge and Backpackers features a secluded beach area, a restaurant and outdoor pool. Beautiful space - literally could not ask for a better area to hang out in. Everything is very clean, the entire staff are wonderful and the common areas make for a great place to hang out. Location is great - super short walk to the beach, bodas available to go anywhere. Even the dorms are lovely, with large comfortable beds. I intended to stay for 2 nights and stayed for 5.
