I stayed in autumn, and the location was divine; surrounded by trees with yellow and orange leaves, I enjoyed my morning coffee by the fire with a view of the lake. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and hospitable - I was well looked after. I will definitely be back for another beautiful stay!

The breakfast was good, we all had eggs cooked for eachbof and some toast which was nice. The lodge is set up really we to ski and board at Zao, you can just walk up the hill to the gondola, and the staff were very friendly
Extraordinary, kind and attentive staff, beautiful facilities. The meals were fantastic. Hotel is in a rather remote area, expect mainly Japanese speaking guests and staff. Translation apps will be helpful :)
The staff and food were amazing. The manager was extremely friendly and helped with local tips and generally made our trip smooth and care free. The chef had an excellent menu for both breakfast and dinner. Each meal was different and delicious. We felt right at home and really enjoyed the games available in the lounge, music, fire place, and Yuki the lodge dog. Don’t miss the hot tub to recover from the slopes!
The lodge is really near to the ski resort. Literally you can just walk to play ski or snowboard. Even though there is no bathroom in the property, but you can have free token to enter onsen near the property.
A classy lodge cabin with with billard tablre, comic books and unlimite drink, and a nice fire place to relax. Situated on top of a mountain. We had Good company with a friendly staff, gueat and owner, nice dinner and breakfast meal Peacefull place and a good hiking area during Autumn.
The lodge is located very close to a ski lift! The host might offer to drive you to the ski lift or onsen.
The hosts at the lodge were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and with the help of Google translate communication was easy.
