Mountain Home Lodge in Deer Park ligger i Nara Park-kvarteret i Nara, 3,3 km fra Nara Station og 20 km fra Iwafune-helligdommen. Der tilbydes gratis WiFi overalt på ejendommen. I likes absolutely everything about this property! I expected it to be very ‘rustic’ considering the price but it was perfect! The rooms were super roomy (not just by Japanese standards..) and super clean and equipped with everything you might need to warm/cook your meals, comfortable beds and best of all- beautiful French doors by the kitchen table where the deer approach in the morning. The staff that was working (or manger?) was incredibly kind and helpful, giving us pointers about the area, he even pointed out an illuminated temple nearby. Made our stay extra special. Would wholeheartedly recommend!
