A romantic house with 4 small holiday flats (each has 45 square meters with a living room including a fully equipped kitrchen, a bed room and a bathroom plus a balcony) allowing for privacy and relaxation inmidst of nature. The house is sourrounded by a big private garden. We enjoyed the big wooden terrace with tables, a swing and the hot pot. In addition there is a small but cozy wellness zone with Finnish sauna, waterbed, infrared, shower and some fitness equipment. Ideal for those who like peace and nature. The village is a bit more than a kilometer away - a 20 minutes walk. In the village you will find a pizzeria, restaurants, hotels, shops, a big supermarket, basically anything you need. Who does not want to walk that far might consider having lunch or dinner at the closeby (300 meters) restaurant "Schluff" or another that can also be reached in ten minutes ("Pippo"). From the village a cablecar brings you to the capital of the region: Bolzano (in Italian) or Bozen (in German). The city has 100.000 inhabitants and offers countless attractions for your daytrips. But we preferred staying on the countryside. House Himmelfahrt is indeed a perfect destination for those who are keen on green travelling. The house has its own sustainability-strategy and can be easily reached by train (from Rome to Bolzano you travel less than 5 hours) and cable car (from Bolzano to Soprabolzano in 12 minutes). Who arrives by electric car can use the charging station of House Himmelfahrt. Our kids enjoyed to see hens, cats, horses and donkeys every day. They also loved the pavillion dedicated to the young guests of House Himmelfahrt (a tiny adult-free zone). I had many peaceful moments in the "atelier" of House Himmelfahrt: a wodden caravan fully equipped with paper, colours, pens, brushes etc allowing to unchain your creativity with a breathtaking view to the Dolomites. I enjoyed the feeling that the whole area is a totally safe space for children.

IRIVAS Lodge is situated in Pellizzano, 21 km from Tonale Pass, in an area where cycling can be enjoyed. Featuring city and mountain views, this lodge also comes with free WiFi. First off this was a last second booking which saved our trip. Marco and this property were amazing. When we arrived we were completely amazed by the town. Classic old village on the hillside. The apartment was amazing. Living area and kitchen were combined and fully open. Had the charm of old style living with modern conveniences. Nice pellet stove that kept us warm through some seasonably cold days. The bedrooms were perfect and the mattresses were comfortable providing a great nights sleep. The bathroom was perfect with plenty of hot water. The view from the living room was spectacular with an old church being remodeled(see picture).And Marco was one of the best hosts we ever had. He responded immediately to any questions and provided us with a list of great places to visit. My only regret was not getting to meet him in person. Will gladly come back and will highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Thanks Marco!

Appartement Wolfenhof has river views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Colle Isarco, 37 km from Novacella Abbey. The accommodation features a sauna. Host was friendly, it was a pleasure to have small talks. It was possible to use private EV charger with additional payment.

With mountain views, Luxury Lodge - Orient Express Lener is located in Campo di Trens and has a restaurant, a shared kitchen, bar, garden, terrace and children's playground. The train car was so cool and there was so much for the kids to do right outside the door to the room. They loved the zipline, the swing, and bunnies. The room was spacious and fancy. The food was delicious.

Situated 24 km from MUSE, Baita Cavecia offers barbecue facilities, and accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. Francesca is the perfect host. She met us in the main square and led us up to the house. My husband and I were welcomed with delicious homemade strudel and prosecco. The house is beautiful, cosy and with stunning views of the area. Francesca was available for any advice we needed.
