Situated in the countryside of County Kildare The Lodges at Kilkea Castle is set in 180 acres of its own woodland and gardens. The domain is huge and the castle is magnificent. In November, it was really nice with autumn colors and Christmas decoration inside the castle. Lovely place to take a drink next to the typical fire. Excellent dinner and breakfast in the castle.

Situated in Kilcullen, 8 km from Riverbank Arts Centre, and The Curragh Racecourse reachable within 8.3 km, The Rooms at Bardons offers a restaurant, a bar and free WiFi. Lovely rooms, very tastefully decorated. A very comfortable bed and the shower was amazing. The staff are very friendly and will help with anything, even if you forget a charger for your phone like I did. The food in the Bistro is fantastic and good value for money.
