From when you walk in the door, you get a local homely sense. The food was exceptional and worthy of high praise to the chef and every piece was perfect even right down to cute stencilling on the head of a pint of Guinness. Location wise, it’s perfect for Sliabh Liag but also an ideal commuter base to the environs albeit exploring Glencolmcille Folk Village, Silver Strand or onward into Killybegs for a wander around. Rooms are fresh and new and have exactly the requirements needed for anyone who is touring around the area that wants a comfortable space to rest their heads at the end of a busy day. Honourable mention to Kathleen and Sheila who made me feel very much at home but all staff were equally very polite, helpful and friendly which all contributed to a 5 star stay.

Corcreggan Millhouse is fantastic. Cosy rooms and friendly staff make for a perfect stay. The accommodations are both comfortable and charming.
A highlight was the campfire, where we toasted marshmallows -accompanied by traditional music from talented local girls. It was magical.
The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable.

The lodge is very comfortable and cozy and the owners thought of everything you could possibly need and have it all organized while still creating the feeling of brightness and space. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and they welcomed us with delicious home made cookies and Guiness bread!
Great place to stay in Donegal town. Near to the center of town to do some shopping or to go out for dinner. Very modern with all the comfort you need. Parking is possible in front of the Lodge. Breakfast was very good !!
The Dolmen Lodge was an excellent place to stay on our trip to Ireland. The lodge is beautiful inside and out and very close to the coast. The hosts are wonderful and provide homemade bread and cookies as a welcome to the lodge. The hosts are very helpful and friendly. Would love to back and stay when we come back to Ireland.
The location was absolutely beautiful. The whole family enjoyed our stay very much. The lodge was so comfortable and warm especially when the stove was lit and the bed was the most comfortable thing I have ever slept on.
The location is amazing , the view is beautiful from the living room, the lodge is cosy spacious and clean. Joe is a great host, showed us around the property, was very helpful. Nice trees and flowers, in the garden. The bed was very comfortable. The energy is beautiful around the place. Very inspiring space for artists. We got to see dragonflies around one of the lakes.
Excellent location, we were on motorcycles so ideal for parking the bikes just outside. The restaurant was nicely set up as were the rooms which were like mini lodges in a courtyard. The only disappointment was there was no bar in the hotel but plenty nearby. Worth a visit. Staff were very friendly.
Lodges are so comfortable and quiet, very relaxing stay.
The good things about our stay was the park area and football pitch for the children. The toilet facilities were good however only one wash basin and mirror which could be tricky if others are trying to use them. Cannot comment on showers as not need for nights stay but looked ok. Access to kitchen so I could wash baby’s items. Easy to find on Google maps. Owner was very informative on arrival and in contact throughout to all staying over. The lodges and Shepard’s huts look really nice from afar.
