The 2 pods we stayed at were wonderful. Very cabiny - super clean inside, adorably decorated with a perfectly landscaped setting- it was all just very inviting. We were traveling with family so we greatly enjoyed the 2 neighboring pods and a fun evening around the fire pit with trivia games provided. (ALDIs fire logs worked great)
Only drawback was i didn’t know how to turn on the hot water for the shower ~ the red switch outside the door I found was the secret afterwards- this was the only issue whatsoever - not knowing the switch was there. The stay felt very private - but would have loved also the chance to meet Paula - and thank her in-person for a lovely stay. Will recommend and will return! Thank you 😊

Castletownbere
Overlooking Bere Island and Berehaven Harbour whilst surrounded by trees and nature, Berehaven Lodge offers a private beach area. The accommodation is located just 3 miles from Castletownbere, the capital of the scenic Beara Peninsula. The location was perfect, within easy reach of the town. The lodge had a beautiful view. It was a very good size, comfortable and had almost everything you needed. It was a bit tired but felt like home. I liked that we could use the fire and bring our own Christmas tree. Sheila is very helpful.

The Curragh House Lodges are located on a bucolic farm setting with the most stunning view of the lovely countryside. Veronica, the hostess, was friendly and gave us all the info we needed. This was a unique lodging that we will remember fondly.
There is much to commend Berehaven Lodge, the location on the Beara Peninsular is absolutely stunning and the setting in which the lodges are located is wonderful. The lodges are very roomy, and we also found the onsite restaurant to be very good. All the staff are very welcoming and helpful, with a special mention for Shelia. For ourselves, being able to bring our dog was an added bonus. Sadly the overall experience was somewhat let down by attention to detail, see below...
Lovely comfortable lodges with beautiful views
The lodges are well appointed and have all the required utensils etc for self catering stay, the wifi coverage at the lodges is excellent and the welcome package the hosts leave is a nice touch. The lodges are located +/- 10 min from the airport and 15 min from Kinsale and have a well stocked Centra 3 min down the road.

What an absolute gem! We had the most fantastic experience with berehaven lodges. The staff were phenomenal, the location was beautiful and the food at the restaurant was some of the best we’ve ever had. We were quite a large group and we were looked after so well by the host and all the staff. Thank you so much for a very special and memorable holiday.
This was my second time to stay and it really is a magical place. Beautiful lodges with so many additional touches to make your stay memorable . Spotlessly clean and beautiful views . The host was so helpful and lovely .
We loved everything about Curragh House Lodges, the freedom to roam around the farm and to see the lovely animals, it was such an enjoyable experience, and would highly recommend to stay here. Veronica met us on arrival to the property and was so lovely and welcoming, really made you feel at home, and went through everything in the Lodge and the different places to go and see around the area.
