There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and a hairdryer. Brigitte and Gef are lovely people who did everything to make our stay pleasant. The food was delicious and varied. The cabins are beautiful and well maintained. There is no air conditioning in the cabins on the island and the humidity must be 100 percent and hot... there is electricity in the evenings and sometimes in the mornings. The dives were really good. I recommend taking a close personal diving guide because the currents are very strong in the water and it is difficult to dive even for those who have a lot of diving experience.

If you would like to discover the area, hiking, fishing and snorkelling are possible in the surroundings. If you want a lovely bungalow over the water with a spectacular house reef (in either direction), look no further. All the guests agreed that the bungalows were the absolute best quality in Raja Ampat. In addition, the house reef is superb. You need to go out at least 2-3 hours on either side of high tide, but this is easy to do daily. We saw gorgeous coral and fabulous sea life including sharks, eels, sea snakes, giant cuttlefish, nudibranchs, turtles, a crocodile flathead, seahorse, and even a manta ray, as well as all kinds of fish and other critters. It is sheer heaven. From the ample deck we saw gorgeous sunsets, turtles, dolphins, fish, and even a passing whale. A cuscus often shows up for some bananas. Jonas was a great daily communicator and helped arrange boat trips to a variety of amazing locations, including nearby manta point, Gam bay (with a stunning viewpoint close to the homestay), Friwen wall, Kri, Arborek, and Mansour. This homestay and transportation were easy to book, and we had many questions answered even before arrival. I can’t recommend Methos’ homestay enough!!

The Jeti Mangrove - Ecolodge, Cottage, Restaurant & Kali Biru, Blue River is situated in Rabia and offers a garden, a terrace and a restaurant. The lodge is in an area where guests can engage in activities such as fishing, snorkelling and canoeing. Nice small Homestay with very friendly and helpfull stuff. You can Rent a Kajak and go to the Blue River there . The people are so friendly. So get to Know a real authentical indonesian family .

A private beach area can be found at the lodge, along with a terrace. Aldejus homestay was a super positive experience for us. The bungalows are super nice: a great bed with a good mosquito net, warm water shower (which is rare!!) and a comfortable toilet. The room was spacious, clean and luxurious for the homestays. The town near Aldejus was nice to visit, the beach beautiful. The food was delicious every meal, freshly cooked with variation. The people were super friendly, helpful and accommodating (the cute dogs were a perk). We could buy beer, coconuts and soft drinks for very reasonable prices. We did our diving with Tarzan diving, which is a 10min boat ride away (a lovely commute). Overall: we loved Aldejus and would definitely come back, a 100% recommend!!

Featuring sea views, Daroyen Village in Kri features accommodation, a garden, a private beach area, a shared lounge, a terrace and barbecue facilities. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. We spent 6 nights with Herman and his family at Daroyen village, and loved every moment of it. The location is stunning, bungalows over the water are basic but incredible, food delicious, and his family are lovely although very quiet and keep to themselves a lot. Herman was always making sure we were enjoying our time and was helpful meeting us in Waisai, and helping to buy the boat ticket back to Sorong. Etlin was amazing too, meeting us in Sorong at both ends of our trip and making sure we got to our hotel. We did 4 dives with Herman and Peter (dive guide) and felt safe with Peter as our guide. The dive equipment was a bit old and we were hesitant at first, but being comfortable in the water and with diving, we were so glad we went because the diving is insanely good. If you’re new to diving or not confident in assessing equipment/risks, I would suggest diving elsewhere. Amazing snorkelling right out in front on the drop off, and plenty of fish life around the nearby jetty’s.
