The lodge provides guests with a terrace, sea views, a seating area, satellite flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge and a dishwasher, and a private bathroom with shower and a hairdryer. An oven, a microwave and stovetop are also available, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. Everything was perfect. Cedric (the owner) was so friendly and helped organise us diving & snorkeling, and the villa was absolutely amazing. It was sparkling clean, the bed was comfy, the kitchen had everything you could need, and the views were incredible - we couldn't fault a thing! This must be one of the best places to stay in Deshaies - my husband and I will definitely return!

Both WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge free of charge. Our stay at Clave Verde Ecolodge was fantastic. We didn’t know what to expect, but the website looked very promising and the reviews were excellent. We couldn’t agree more! The ecolodge is surrounded by beautiful gardens and the views are spectacular. The room was very clean and comfortable. All meals were prepared with fresh, local ingredients and great care. Clave Verde is a wonderful place to relax, but also very central to explore Samaná. Jonathan, Noemí and their team really know how to make guests feel at home in a short time and they were always available for any questions we had. We already miss our interesting conversations and can’t wait to catch up again!
Sint Michiel

The design of treehouse was unique and memorable. It felt like we were part of nature and not trying to escape it. For breakfast, the food and service were great. They offered daily specials and a vast menu. The central location on the island is great for exploring north and south. The staff were friendly and accommodating in every way.

Fabulous location overlooking beautiful valley. Very peaceful with grounds to stroll around - we may have been the only guests ( we were staying on weekdays!) Nice little balcony. Breakfast a short stroll away in the main block consisted of a choice of juices and a plate of mashed potato, scrambled egg, fried cheese and salami. Also coffee.Lots of good choices for evening meals too!

It’s a truly serene place in the middle of lush nature and within walking distance from the river. Carina and Lester are delightful hosts who took great care of me. I did several tours with Lester and had so much fun and a wonderful time. Carina made delicious food at night. Serenity Lodges is an amazing place to spend time at, relax, tour the island and also just let yourself be taken care of by the lovely hosts. I look forward to coming back!

Super close to the airport but still right within the forest and in nature. The scenery around the lodges are beautiful, and the views from the rooms/breakfast is stunning. The people are so, so lovely! They will give you recommendations, help you plan the trip and let you know the best way to do things. They also plan great tours to help you explore the island. Would recommend highly!
Our stay at Jan Kok Lodges was excellent! The hosts were very receptive and the structure is very good. I believe the biggest differential is the location. Located right in the middle of the island, you are less than a 5-minute drive from incredible beaches and you won't need more than 30 minutes to get to each end of the island. The view of the flamingo lake is beautiful.
The whole concept is very good, we love eco-lodges and have stayed in many of them in this country
Wow what a fab location. The lodges sit in a small cove which is perfect for swimming and snorkelling (which we did every day). The place is clean and safe. the staff are excellent. It is literally paradise.
Blue bay lodges are a series of nicely located and appointed small self-service apartments with a nearby (free) beach with lots of services and a lovely setting and beach location. It is really quiet, although, inside a big residential private area. It should be a prime location and vacation spot for golf lovers, as it has its own nicely appointed golf course.
We loved the property!! What an experience! Our room (Banana) and all the other lodges are located in the middle of the rainforest surrounded with hummingbirds, palm trees and fruits. The view from our balcony was incredible, overlooking the plantations. Fantastic location. We stayed three nights while exploring the area (mud baths, waterfalls, pitons,chocolate plantations- all 5 mins away) and enjoying the sound of nature on our balcony. Strong wifi signal across the entire resort was also a bonus.
The area is great, we liked the lodges a lot. The staff is amazing, they are very helpful and engaged. Breakfast and dinner are delicious!!
