Purdy Lodge offers friendly, efficient service and is located in an area of natural beauty between Alnwick and Berwick upon Tweed. The restaurant serves a range of meals, beers and wines. The staff were simply amazing. Super helpful and made sure we had everything we needed for our 4 day stay. At the Lodge just flag the X15 bus down on the A1 and you are 30 minutes from Berwick, Alnwick, Bamburgh and Holy Island. (For carless Canadians like us) Though taking a Cab is a grest way to learn about the local scene and Northern Hopitality
