Boasting river views, The Sett on The Wharfe provides accommodation with a terrace and a balcony, around 38 km from Royal Hall Theatre. Everything was great. You never know when you book someone's backyard guest house, but the engineering and design of this property was superb. Down a slope from the main house, which is not visible at all from the accommodation, with a huge wall of windows facing the river and the Wharfedale, looking across to Grassington. View off the porch when we arrived is included here. Location was great - easy walk to Grassington and easy access to plenty of public footpaths in the Dales. Hosts were friendly and gave us all the space we wanted. Good recommendations for food and activities and walks. Do yourself a favor and read the Grassington book when you first arrive. We walked the village and later wished I had looked at the book before striking out.

Set in Horton in Ribblesdale, 47 km from Lancaster, Ribblesdale Pods offers a garden and free WiFi. We had bookedribblesdale pod for our wedding anniversary. It was more than we expected . Very beautiful stay, frank was very helpful. The place was very lean and tidy. The main highlight was the hot tub it was just amazing .Wegot the beautiful snow too.Overall amazing place for couples. Morober there was lot of privacy. You are just in a different world!!!

Situated in Hutton le Hole, 17 km from Flamingo Land Theme Park, and Dalby Forest reachable within 24 km, The Crown, Hutton le Hole offers a restaurant, a bar and free WiFi. Everything ! It was beautifully styled, lovely ‘& clean with terrific facilities. Plenty of room for two also.

With barbecue facilities and a garden, The Jonas Centre features accommodation with free WiFi. The lodge offers a children's playground. Guests can also relax in the shared lounge area. Modern, clean cabins, friendly staff. Been to stay 4 times now and already booked for next visit

High Parks has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Bedale, 19 km from Lightwater Valley Theme Park. The property and its grounds were absolutely stunning so much beautiful scenery and the opportunity to have a proper camp fire and barbecue right outside your own lodge is amazing. Couldn’t fault anything at all.

Set in 16 acres on the banks of Pickering Beck, in a beautiful, peaceful location in North Yorkshire, this 18th century farmhouse offers attractive self catering accommodation. The photos didn’t do the justice it deserved, one of the best places we ever stayed at. The place is well looked after and a very cozy place. The communication with owners before the stay and during the stay was exceptional. 100% recommend!!!

Everything was perfect, the location, the lodge were great. Rachael the owner went above and beyond for our visit. It was such a lovely quiet location. The lodges have absolutely everything one could need and are fitted to a high standard.

Located 15 km from York Railway station, Hollicarrs Holiday Park - Hares Leap provides accommodation in Riccall with access to a hot tub. We were self catering, the location was beautiful

The Shepherd's Hut is situated in Sheriff Hutton, 18 km from York Railway station, 30 km from Flamingo Land Theme Park, as well as 36 km from Dalby Forest. The Shepherds hut is situated in a beautiful village, but having it within castle ruins just makes any stay there magical. We found ourselves having a cuppa at any time of day just so we can sit and admire the castle grounds. Tasha, Pat and Oscar (their pooch) are wonderful hosts and are very welcoming, most notably Tasha makes an amazing lemon cake which we thought was a fantastic personal touch. Pat gave us a lovely tour around the grounds and allowed us to visit the sound room, which again was beautiful. We cannot express how amazing the location is, beautiful, magical, full of history and character and the sunshine is the icing on the cake. Thank you for a lovely time! Jonny and Fran
