Towels and bed linen are offered in the lodge. Everything was perfect was nice to be greeted and shown round by Phillipa given the keys and contact number if any problems talked about the local area where I discovered 2 old quarrys to walk the dogs and felt like home from home.

This lodge comes with 2 bedrooms, a flat-screen TV, and a kitchen. After dealing with Julie on the phone before our arrival- we didn’t enjoy anything. Absolutely vile and rude.

World of Beatrix Potter is 44 km from the lodge, while Brougham Castle is 13 km away. Teesside International Airport is 106 km from the property. All the details and little touches. Everything had been thought of, and the barn was just beautiful. The photo's do not do it justice.

Just 100 metres from the shores of Bassenthwaite Lake, Lakeside Lodge is a 1-bedroom Cumbrian retreat 10 minutes’ drive from the centre of Cockermouth. In the grounds of the Lakeside Country Guest House, this open-plan lodge has free parking and Wi-Fi. Peaceful location central to places we wanted to go to.
