The lodge provides a terrace. The house was a lot more luxurious than I thought it would be. It’s all quite new I think, very clean, and well equipped. Beds are comfortable. The area is quiet as you’re surrounded by nature, and you can watch the birds and squirrels from the living room. the little cafe and play area on the property are nice as well.

The scenic National Trust site of Smallhythe Place is a 15-minute drive away and located opposite Chapel Down vineyard, winery and restaurant. Camber Sands is 5 miles away. The nearest airport is London Gatwick Airport, 39.8 miles from the property. The historic cathedral city of Canterbury is just over an hour’s drive away and features a medieval centre with cobbled streets and timber-framed houses. A lovely little accommodation with, in my humble opinion, the most powerful shower I ever had :D There is a pond, you have your own terrace and a car park in front and nothing is too much for John. We’d love to stay here again next time!

This lodge features a garden, barbecue facilities, free WiFi and free private parking. Lovely and clean and cozy , in a lovely location , and the lady who owns it was amazing and helpful . The lovely little personal touches were lovely , like the bottle of Prosecco and hot chocolate , marshmallows for the fire and lovely wash products and flowers .

We enjoyed watching the little horses break out of the field, then break back into it. We loved the quirkyness of the horse box. Will be recommending it to family and friends.
