Serving homemade meals upon request, Destination Ailleurs offers accommodation in a yurt located in Castellane. The yurt has a dining table. The private bathroom comes with a shower. Well this was really something special, and only in a good way! Really nice place, and very nice yurt. It was nicely decorated, clean and big - and had next to private bathroom. Slept very well! We ordered also good dinner and had it in the yurt. The breakfast was excellent, too. The owners were really very kind.

Just Perfect! The host Antoine was so nice. We had a flat tire during our stay, he came to pick us up from the village as he didn’t want to leave us to walk to the hotel. Then gave some contacts for a garage. Very welcoming host. Very positive and polite. The property itself is like a fairytale. Beautiful, clean, the nature is amazing. It is very big as well so a lot of things to do. I cannot recommend enough. Would love to go back soon

We loved everything about this property, but especially the extra large bed!! The kitchen was generously well stocked, and there was cold wine and beer in the fridge on arrival. Cornelia and Oskar were divine and gracious hosts, we shared stories and dinner on the last night. The salt water pool was great for cooling off and the outside area just read a book and chill. We even saw our fist wild badger driving back from town one night, bonus! We had unfortunately had a few very stressful weeks in France for work and this was an oasis for us when our plans changed last minute, we can’t thank them enough for their hospitality.

The owners were so warm and friendly even with a bit of a language barrier. They showed us and our children around and introduced us to their animals, all of whom seem very well loved and cared for. They even ordered our dinner for us! The cabin was cosy, clean and smart and we all slept very well. We were offered breakfast for a very reasonable supplement and it was charming: pastries, bread, juice and coffee delivered in a wicker hamper. The shower was unexpectedly fantastic (given the type of accommodation) with lots of hot water. Our children (18 mths and 3 years) were enchanted by the whole experience.
