Both her and husband Jerry were great hosts who made our stay very homey and cozy. My cellular Internet worked great here as well. They also organized the cave excursion which was super fun. The bungalows were also quite spacious and had a great view of the beach and water underneath it. We also participated in the family’s kava ceremony which they organized for the guests to join in

Clark and Brenda were so much fun to work with. They shared their knowledge of kite surfing and ukulele freely. They are funny and fun loving. Liza was a great too. She lives on the property and works for the owners. Her daughter is adorable. They share a great deal about local culture and customs. The snorkeling was excellent and very clean along the beach. They have an excellent map to guide you to all the amazing features to discover. There’s a swim through for the real adventurer. Their compendium was great with lots of ideas on things to do while you’re there. Looking forward to returning! For the WiFi addicts like ourselves, we’d appreciate an upgrade in the system. Overall, it was one of the best places to to stay on the island.

And never book any guided tours on the Salt Lake from third parties, because if you are staying at Salt Lake Lodge you will get all the equipment and advice for free to do it on your own! Book the romantic dinner on the Salt Lake instead. This comes at an additional cost, but Salt Lake lodge staff and extraordinary chef will go out of their way to turn this into the most amazing and unexpected surprise during your whole stay in Fiji!
