Shuttle provided, making this a convenient stop on the Camino. Wonderful hostess. Beautiful lodge and patio gardens. Great breakfast. Plenty of heat and hot water. Actually had a double bed, not 2 twins. Can't say enough good things about this lodge!
The breakfast was lovely with delicious homemade yogurt and baked goods plus cereals, fresh fruit also available. It was a substantial meal with which to start a full day of hiking. From the moment María met me at the door my experience at Pensión Fernández was excellent. She has created a beautiful, artistic and very warm and comfortable place to lodge. First rate all the way around
Fantastic hotel right in the centre of Leon. Beautiful luxurious room and bathroom. Exceptional receptionist/manager who could not have done more to help us and make us feel welcome. She even arranged a taxi for us on our last morning to take us to the train station. A very good breakfast is available if required. I would highly recommend this Hotel. We can't wait to get back and spend more time in exploring this lovely city from such comfortable lodgings.
Great albergo just on the camino. Had a nice vibe. Great value for both lodging and restaurant. Swimming pool was nice after a long day on the camino.
I booked a Room, but the lodge was closed, when I arrived. No reaction since then, Money Not refunded. Booking.com absolutely Not helpful
The lodging is close to the old town of Segovia and amid a variety of restaurants to suit all budgets. The staff were helpful and I was attended promptly. A visitor had written that he could see the aqueduct from his room. I could too.
Found free public parking easily near the hotel. Central location. Short walk to restaurants and childrens play park. Beautiful old lodge-like decor.
The town of Santo Domingo de Silos is not all that big. This lodging is directly across the street for the church and cloisters which many people come to town to see. The building is probably modern but constructed to look older... and it fits in nicely with the general ambience of the town. There is a parking garage nearby which I wound up using (but I don't know if that was necessary as there were not any "crowds" during my stay") Room was clean and quiet and breakfast area resembles an old tavern.
