The hotel is a really impressive and very beautiful art nouveau wooden house, 10 minutes walk from the town hall square.

I liked that the old wooden house was characteristic Tartu old times working class house that told it’s story. It is not straight or logical, it is small but it has lasted till today.

Traditional small hotel in a historical wooden house managed by a cultural association, warm welcome and kind staff. Cozy large room all in wood, with comfortable bed and a bit dated but functional bathroom. The breakfast is simple but with good variety and quality. It's more like staying in a B&B or good hostel rather than a real hotel, but it makes for a really authentic experience in the heart of Tartu, just steps from some of the most interesting historical attractions in town.

We liked the hotel, the big rooms, the street with its wooden houses, its location. .. It is not a very modern hotel but that is charming too.
