The nearby shorelines is very nice. Background note concerning responses in this review: There are three rental cottages on the premises; we were in #2. The others looked to be similar size, but we don't know whether everything in our response would apply accurately to them.

All was great, Tanel is exceptional host, and the location in the winter is absolutely magical and so remote, yet easily accessible via bus from Tallinn. Peep is a wonderful host and is very quick to help and provide more water/firelighters when requested. Peep is an exceptional host who gave us a full tour of the grounds and had heated the sauna prior to our arrival. We stayed in February and it was wonderful. The fire produces a lot of heat and we had a spare radiator should we get cold. The river is a perfect place to have a dip after the sauna. We did a short walk around the property and it was perfect. So quiet and surrounded by nature. The toilet was incredibly clean. There is a fire pit by the river, we didn’t use it but a great addition. The cottage is completely off-grid and full of many homemade quirks which made the stay very unique. We stayed for two nights and would definitely stay again.
