With sea views, Tropic ecolodge is set in Punta Rucia and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden, outdoor pool and terrace. The property was rustic and well matched the vibe and feel of Punta Rucia. Our room overlooked the water (stunning view), with unique outside bath and shower attached to our room. We found it perfect and could not imagine a better choice for the casual traveler. Breakfast was included in the room date and served on the beach. What a way to start our day. We opted to also eat dinner there and it was fantastic. The cook put out an array of delicious meals. I’ll save my best and final comments for the Lodge Manager (Janine). Personable, warm, charming, welcoming and absolutely tireless. She made our stay both memorable and enjoyable. What an asset!

Located in Sosúa in the Puerto Plata Province region and Alicia Beach reachable within 2.1 km, Villa Victoria provides accommodation with free WiFi, BBQ facilities, an outdoor swimming pool and free... Everything was very clean and the layout was comfortable. Everything you could possibly need for your stay is provided and the owners are super helpful in case a question arises. The ground outside of the casitas are very beautiful and the pool in a great size. I would highly recommend staying here :)

With pool views, Beach Cabarete Lodge Eco De Luxe Encuentro Surf, Kite is located in Cabarete and has a restaurant, a kids' club, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. The property and location is incredible. Very secluded beach and lots of amazing places to walk on the coastline in both directions. Close to encuentro for those of you surfing very short drive or 15 minutes walk on the coast. Marc and the staff were amazing people and the other guests were also great. Very social environment. Breakfast and meals are great, bar on site as well as pools and activities. Another restaurant next-door to mix up food options as well. As a Canadian who is big into outdoors this was a very nature-style accomodation that felt like being in a treehouse. Opposed to most of DR which is concrete buildings ecolodge was all wood which gave it an amazing feel. While it has everything you need, Eco Lodge as so much more character than most of your typical "resorts".
