Quetzal Dorado Eco-Lodge is located in Los Naranjos, only 1.5 km away from the entrance of Tayrona National Park in El Zaino. No words can describe how amazing our experience was in this hotel. We are beyond grateful to the staff making us so welcome, starting with a welcome drink and taking care of us all the time. After our check out we were allowed to stay longer by the pool and have lunch. The hotel has a beautiful view overlooking Tyrona park. It has incredible sunsets. We arrived by car and there is a free parking inside. Room was more than enough, AC inside, warm water, wifi. There is a game room, restaurant and massage area. Food and drinks were delicious! So full of flavour. Breakfast was excellent. We would love to go back and spend more time there.

Located in Buritaca, Finca La Selvita Cacao experience provides free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a terrace and a restaurant. The lodge offers a continental or American breakfast. The place is extraordinary, at the heart of a very quiet and peaceful land of forest, with a nice view on the sea. I really recommend the chocolate tour where you can taste the chocolate of the farm in (almost) unlimited quantities. For gourmands only!

With sea views, Senda Cabaña Barlovento is located in Los Naranjos and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. Beautiful location by the ocean . You hear the waves all day and night . Very calm and soothing place . Great food , spa , swimming pool and beach . One of my favourite hotels in the world

Offering a private beach area, Playa Pikua Ecolodge is a solar-powered property situated in Guachaca between two rivers and the Caribbean sea. Exceptional ecologde if you look for simplicity like us, living in bungalows made of wood with palm-leaf roofs. Everything so carefully designed and constructed, you feel connected to nature. No speakers allowed, lighting dimmed by natural materials, makes it very quiet and peaceful day and night. Nice communal building with sofas, hammocks and yoga mats. Location is great, right by the wonderful almost pristine beach. A few hotels/hostels nearby, embedded among the palm trees, with some very nice low key restaurants with chairs in the sand. Very friendly staff, served great breakfast on our own veranda.

With garden views, Playa Mareygua Hostal is situated in Buritaca and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden and terrace. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Everything was amazing! Staff was super friendly, delicious food, the room was great, comfy and clean. Spectacular views, the beach is huge, quiet and peaceful. Lots of pretty animals. Totally worth it!

Located in Buritaca, Paraiso Ahimsa provides accommodation with free WiFi and a garden with a terrace and sea views. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. Julia’s property is a mesmerizing paradise in the middle of the jungle. The place is warming and very welcoming. The sounds of the jungle and the view from the vast ocean are breath-taking. The room was absolutely comfortable and the decorations mix local habdcrafts and modern taste.

Offering sea views, Finca Cuipo in Buritaca offers accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a terrace. A balcony with mountain views is offered in each unit. What makes this place so great, as so many have alluded to, is Fiona and Helmut - lovely, hospitable hosts who do everything they can to make you feel welcome. Loved the breakfasts and Helmut’s cooking in the evening was excellent too. The location is just magnificent and the views from the Finca and from the poolside are unforgettable - banana trees, jungle and the beautiful coastline. It is a rustic place but with lots of beautiful touches and a great spot from which to totally unwind and escape - though we also used it as a base to explore nearby Tayrona National Park and Palomino, both short bus rides away from the bottom of the hill. Thank you guys for sharing your slice of paradise with us, we miss it already!

Featuring sea views, Reserva Atashi in La Poza features accommodation, a garden, a terrace and a restaurant. A patio with mountain views is offered in every unit. Superb little cabaña in the middle of the jungle. Wake up to the sound of birds and monkeys. I spent a lot of time relaxing on the balcony, as well as talking to Jorge and his family. They are wonderful hosts, very kind and generous. It's a happy place!

Offering a barbecue and terrace, Entre Bosques Tayrona is set in Los Naranjos, 37 km from Santa Marta. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant and outdoor swimming pool. the location was great. The pool was OK. Food was OK.
