Offering a garden and sun terrace, El Sexto Sentido is set in Palomino, on Camino Real Sierra Path, 500 meters from the river and 15 minutes walking from the beach. we loved our stay at sexto sentido! after spending 2 nights in the more city centre of palomino, we valued the privacy and serenity this property offered. we enjoyed being able to spend quite mornings drinking coffee and reading in the hammocks while being able to spend the evening in the more bustling palomino centre just a 10-15 min walk away. alisonn was an exceptional host! she consistently went out of her way to make us feel welcomed. en plus - she provided an amazing breakfast (the bread that she makes on site was incredible! i wish we would have more time to try the different offerings of the boulangerie) + i had one of the best sandwiches of my life here for dinner (truly!). accommodations are clean and comfortable + since the property is relatively spread out we appreciated a bit of privacy (esp relative to other places we saw in palomino).

We arrived at this property and we were given a warm welcome by the staff, they were so lovely and friendly - the location is perfect and it is nice and quiet in the hostel away from any outside noise l. we spent most of our time chilling out there and cooked as they have shared kitchen - it’s very clean!!! The staff Jason and Mildred made our stay especially with there young boy they made us feel welcome and as part of the family. I would definitely recommend this place if your in palomino. We felt very safe here and comfortable.

Located in Palomino, La Mona Eco Cabins provides accommodation with a year-round outdoor pool, free WiFi, a garden and a terrace. I had the honor and pleasure of being one of the first guests of this new gem. It was absolutely magical! The cabins are super open but still very private, and I woke up to the most beautiful views of the snowy peaks of the Sierra Nevada. The food was amazing and healthy, I had dinner here at la Mona but also had lunch with a local family. I loved that so many local people were involved and I got to experience their hospitality as well. They also have beautiful and healthy horses to go on tour with, which really made this experience unforgettable! The surroundings are absolutely beautiful. I've been to places with this kind of nature and views, but it was always a hassle to reach. But this place was really easy to reach with a moto taxi from Palomino. The host, Lois, was so welcoming and I felt at home immediately. I only got to stay one night but I'll be back soon! Highly recommend!

The food was very good, staff were super nice and helpful, rooms are spacious and cosy, the view from the pool is great and the different birds and tiny animals all around make it very pleasant.
