The property was up the coast from Bahía Solano on Mecana Beach. A remote and beautiful part of the Pacific Coast. I didn't like the hotel I had originally booked so I quickly packed up and made this reservation last minute. I didn't know I'd have to take a boat from Bahía Solano (Mutis) to get there (I didn't read closely enough) but the owner Laura quickly arranged to have us picked up at the dock and we were sitting eating fresh fish and drinking cold beer after a short (20 minute) boat ride. This place was magical, both because of the setting but also largely due to Laura's energy and passion for the property. She is a warm, caring and accepting person and I feel lucky that we got to meet her and stay at her ecohotel. The food was delicious, fresh fish every day and everything was made in house. The place was perfect and just two minutes walk through the trees to the spectacular and peaceful beach. If you're the kind of traveller who needs air conditioning, sterilized rooms or you are high maintenance in any way I would say that this property is probably not for you. If you're like me and love to be close to nature and want to unplug and enjoy then don't hesitate to book here. I would go back tomorrow if I could!

Ecohotel Bahía Terco ligger i Nuquí och erbjuder boende med utsikt över havet samt en trädgård, en restaurang och en egen strand. Everything is just like a dream here! The place is perfect, in the middle of the beach, close to Termales and close to playa Guachalito. You can see the Whales from the beach and babies tortules!! The jungle is amazing! Claudia And Francisco are really kind people with good energy and relax. Claudia makes incredible food, you’ll eat a lot of fish!! The room has no Windows as it’s like a kinda hut but you have mosquito net and everything is super clean! You can view the ocean from the room as it’s just in front! Anyway it’s a paradise and we are sad to go…. I highly recommend this Bahia Terco!

Irana Pacific Hotel ligger i Nuquí och erbjuder boende med utsikt över havet samt en trädgård, en gemensam lounge, en terrass, en restaurang och en egen strand. Det finns gratis WiFi. Property is well equipped, room was very comfy and a beautiful sea view. The food was amazing (thanks to Diana and Dayana for their love and unique cuisine). We couldn’t be happier with our stay at Irana. You have 5 km of beach only for yourself. Forget about crowded places and constant sellers, this is like having an island for yourself, surrounded by the jungle and the sea. Esteban and Marcela, both owners and administrators, will take care of all your needs. They are extremely helpful and will help you arrange all the activities you want to do. Despite coming during low season (not the whale season) we had plenty of choices and activities to do (we even did an amazing 6h hike through the jungle to a beautiful double cascade). Esteban and Marcela, besides our guide, came along and hiked with us. We will be back, for sure!

El Retoño del Negro Gozón ligger i Nuquí och erbjuder boende med tillgång till en trädgård. Enkelt men rent och bekvämt med bästa läge nära strand.Promenad avstånd till byarna som ligger närmast.God mat från regionen på boendet.Utmärkt service och mycket trevligt bemötande.Ett ställe vi skulle åka tillbaka till.

El Vijo Surf ligger i Nuquí och har havsutsikt, en restaurang, en bar, en trädgård, en terrass och conciergeservice. Det finns gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen. El Vijo is a paradise, I would especially recommend it for groups and couples. It is about a 20 mins walk to the next (very) small village, although the walk is not always possible due to the tide. Adolpho and Deude did an amazing job. The food was delicious and Adolpho very kind and helpful. As a solo traveller I would recommend somewhere else but for couples seeking tranquility or groups of friends looking for an amazing experience I would highly recommend it. Looking forward to my next stay there.

Finca El Regalo ligger i Capurganá och erbjuder boende med utsikt över havet samt en trädgård, en gemensam lounge, en terrass och en restaurang. Gabriella the owner was super nice and welcoming and very helpful , the property is located a bit out of town but is very beautiful .

Denna miljövänliga stuga ligger vid stranden i utkanten av Cape Corrientes på Stillahavskusten i Colombia. Här finns en internationell restaurang och en gemensam terrass med hängmattor och havsutsikt.... isolated, peace, it’s a not for beginners - you have to like and love nature to enjoy it. If you can do some kind of hard trails, you will have the best connecting with nature in its original state. the place is very good taste, with minimum intervention in the environment. it’s a place to disconnect to the world and the internet and connect to yourself. And as a plus, meals are served in one table and you will have the chance to make new frieds, as I did!

Ecolodge El Almejal ligger i ett naturreservat, 50 meter från stranden El Almejal och 1 km från El Valle centrum. Här erbjuds rustikt boende med utsikt över djungeln i Mutis. The good service, specially Luisa which took care of finding tours when the conditions were not ideal. Nice shelters. Everything was very clean. The jungle just a few meters with a long walk behind the hotel. Many animals to be seen from the hotel, lizards, squirrel, colibri... Avialable coffee and water. Night fire.

Cabaña los Termers erbjuder boende med terrass i Nuquí. Vissa har en sitthörna och/eller en balkong. Varje morgon serveras en kontinental frukost och en buffé.

Detta motell i Capurganá ligger 200 meter från Karibiska havet och erbjuder en utomhuspool, ett bäckrum, en bar och en restaurang. WiFi är gratis. The staff are great. From our arrival to departure they took great care of us going out of there way to make us feel comfortable.
