They even checked on us when we went to town to make sure we were fine. Jorge, Irene and the whole staff were great, they made us feel totally at home. We stayed 3 nights in one of the little bungalows with an amazing view, even from the shower. We really loved our stay. The location is great, in the middle of nature, but if you want to go to Manizales you can take a bus not far away and go. I also recommend having dinner in the lodge as the food was delicious. The veggie Lasagne was one of the best I ever had! We will definitely come back, when we get a chance.
Incredible vibe, eco lodge style setting so close to Manizales. The lodge feels like it is in another world all its own. Many options for room or cabanas. The restaurant was very cute with amazing view and excellent food. The staff was extremely kind and accommodating. They let us check out late so we could do unexpected computer work in the lovely common room. I enjoyed hiking around the mountain on their trails. This place is fantastic.
We stayed in the lodge. We booked the meal and it was great. Super clean hotel, nice pool, nice breakfast. The staff was really nice. We did a coffee tour (super interesting), and there are many walks (lots of birds) to do around with amazing views. Would definitely come back!
We stayed in both the hostel and the lodge,very different reviews for both areas. LODGE We really enjoyed this,the hacienda is stunning,completely surrounded by nature. Dinner was delicious and was in a very homely setting. The coffee tour was worth it and very informative. The staff were very helpful and booked our buses/taxis. The hacienda was definitely one of my favourite stays in all of Colombia.
Everything was perfect and beautiful. The place is wonderful in the middle of the nature, the room was spacious and clean and the lodge has all the necessary amenities and services. Breakfast was very good and the staff was super nice!
Beautiful location in the middle of coffee fields. The different buildings (main house, coffee lodge and hostel) are all lovely and well kept. We stayed in the coffee lodge and loved our room, especially the small balcony. We did a coffee tour with Gilberth, a great guide. The free coffee available at the lodge was delicious.
We booked the privat lodge with mountain view. it was absolutely amazing and lovely. super privat and comfortable. even a hot shower. the breakfast lunch and dinner are cooked fresh on order. the staff is very friendly and helpful.
This is a bird watching ecolodge, not a hotel. So it is in countryside with forest. It has a Lek for the golden-collared manakin--something very special, a daily show.
