Very espectacular experiences sleeping in the tree house, listening the sound of the jungle in a very comfy place surrounded by trees. One of the nicest experiences.

The cabins offer unexpected luxuries like proper toilets and running water. A highly recommended choice for those seeking an authentic jungle adventure.

This place is a beautiful but rustic spot next to the Amazon river. The food was very good, usually fish from the river. At night the jungle birds and frogs sing you to sleep. It’s not a place for the squeamish, we had a tarantula on our ceiling, but the mosquito nets work well and you really get a chance to be surrounded by the Amazon rain forest. The tours they offer are very reasonably priced, but there are also plenty of places to just hang out and enjoy the nature. The common areas were very social and we had some great conversations with the other guests. Also, the staff was especially welcoming and made us feel at home right away. It was really cool to be able to talk to people who live in the Amazon and hear a little bit about daily life here. Overall, this was a huge highlight for us.

Omshanty ligger undangömt i Amazonskogen, 11 km från centrala Leticia. Här erbjuds bungalower och rum med delat badrum. I had a great stay! My cabin was super charming--rustic but comfortable. There were many birds, and occasional monkeys and other cool wildlife, passing through, which I enjoyed immensely. The restaurant on site was great for all meals of the day (breakfast was included, the restaurant was open to the public for lunch, and dinner could be requested), and the food was excellent. There were multiple nature reserves nearby, which were easy to walk to, as was Las Amazonas Balneario-Restaurant (swimming pool & restaurant).

Hotel Amazon ligger mitt i Leticia, några minuter från Amazonfloden på gränsen mellan Colombia, Peru och Brasilien. Här erbjuds en bubbelpool, massage och rymliga bungalower. The place is really nice and cozy. They have hot water and aircon which is a big bonus in Leticia. The breakfast is very good. Staff was very nice and helpful especially Judy. Location is nice. Not too far from the center but in the quiet area. Definitely recommend.
