Patagonia House is surrounded by forest and well kept gardens offering beautiful views. 5-10 minutes ride from city center and 45 minutes by car to Balmaceda airport. (Chp 9k pp in shared minivan that reception will help you to book in advance if desired) Bed: Beds comfortable but double beds are in fact joined twins (so expect a crack in the middle) Bathroom: outstanding and spacious. Good shower. Very nice soaps etc. Wifi: superb Bonus: The restaurant is absolutely outstanding (both for breakfast and for dinner). Apart from this, there are various friendly dogs (belonging to the hotel) that will love to join you for a walk (and be cuddled) All in all a 5 star hospitality experience without it being a 5 star hotel.

Utterly breathtaking setting - we stayed in the suite which had views over mountains and trees and was completely on its own. Beautifully designed and furnished space. It’s an experience staying here in itself, worth going well out of your way for if needed! But it’s also very close to the trailheads in the nearby national park with spectacular, quiet hiking trails. The staff were all incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make our stay special - which included bringing over some cake for my partner’s birthday on the last morning of our stay, minutes after they heard about it. Nestor treats you like royalty - very attentive coffee preparation for example! And Lucas was really happy to offer lifts up and down the hill, and share information about the local area and Chile in general. Simply one of the best places we’ve ever stayed.

Enrique, the owner, is a friendly and dedicated host that made sure everything we needed was provided, often without us even asking. Location is stunning, their dogs are a welcome friendly distraction and the cabin was warm and clean.

The domo is really cute, clean and had all the things we needed as in to cook, towels etc.. The people were really friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place.

Cabañas Kuyen er staðsett í Coihaique og býður upp á fjallaútsýni, garð og verönd. Allar einingar opnast út á svalir með garðútsýni og eru búnar eldhúsi með ísskáp og örbylgjuofni. It was even better than it looked in the pictures with a nice big log burner and lots of cut wood to keep everything toasty. But the best thing about our stay was the kindness and helpfulness of the hosts Ines and Hugo, who would always go the extra mile if you needed anything. So, although a bit out of town, getting in and out was not a problem. And Hugo would go out of his way to show us the local sights.
