Featuring a garden of 200 trees, Ckoi Atacama Lodge is located in San Pedro de Atacama. Guests can enjoy free WiFi access in public areas and a complimentary breakfast each morning at this lodge. Ckoi was the perfect place to discover the Atacama desert. It was away from the activity of the main strip in San Pedro and the pool was perfect for relaxing in between tours, especially as I was travelling alone. The staff were warm and friendly with a family-run vibe. It really felt like a retreat staying there. Seeing the new baby llama topped it off!

The lodge is a bit outside of town but with a car it's just a few minutes to San Pedro. Some of the bad reviews are just based on the location but a quick look at Google Maps would have shown them that you just can't walk to town from the lodge. Actually, we loved being a bit out of town as you could watch the stars from the loungers of the lodge. The breakfast is simple but still sufficient and delicious options available.

We had an amazing experience at Terraluna. The accommodations were impeccably clean and tastefully simple. Maricarmen was exceptionally al warm and welcoming, making our stay truly enjoyable. She went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, offering delicious breakfasts and helpful advice on local activities. Additionally, the location is easy to find, which made our visit even more convenient. Overall, it was a wonderful stay.

Very comfortable and spacious. Lots of communal seating areas inside and outside. A short walk from the centre, so away from the nighttime noise of the live music bars.

Objekt Planeta Atacama Lodge nalazi se na samo 20 minuta hoda od centra pustinjskog grada San Pedro de Atacama. U cijelom objektu dostupan je besplatan WiFi. Franklin and his wife Carla run an amazing B&B, a little outside the city which makes it a very good spot for star gazing. Since we came by ourselves with a rented car, Franklin gave us very good tips of where to go, suggesting routes, helping us with purchasing tickets for the places we wanted to go and giving us restaurant recommendations. Breakfast is generous and personalized and even when we needed to leave very early one day, they made an effort to leave a snack for us to go.

Offering garden views, Cabañas Voyage Atacama in San Pedro de Atacama offers accommodation, free bikes, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a terrace and barbecue facilities. Amazing place, clean, comfortable and perfect location. A peaceful place away from the crowd and with an astonishing view on the desert and volcanoes. The tenants are the nicest people we met in Chile, adorable and very helpful regarding travel options and attractions. If there are some available Cabaña, run for it you won’t regret 😀

In simple words: Everything! we enjoyed a nice time in the authentic Adobe house. We loved the natural materials and remote location. at night it’s super silent and in the morning you wake up with a view on the Mountains and Volcano. The house has everything one needs for a long term stay in the desert. From cooking utensils to BBQ equipment, everything is there and the contact with the hosts was just brilliant!

Situated 7 km south of San Pedro de Atacama, Casita La Brea offers two types of accommodations, a two bedroom house, and a private apartment. Free private parking is available on site. A few days before the trip, Ian provided us with detailed driving instructions on a custom Google map, because the navigation programmes, if left to their own, will apparently lead you astray. This was part of a continuing "care package" with advice on how to make the best of our time in San Pedro, including valuable suggestions on routes, ticket requirements, etc. We landed at the nearest airport in Calama, picked up a truck from the rental agency, and headed towards San Pedro. Calama, from what we see, is about as ugly as you can get, and the road out of town towards San Pedro looks like a road construction company's work yard, so we were somewhat taken aback. The drive to San Pedro takes a little over an hour and first impressions of San Pedro were: Oh no, why did we come here, this place looks like it has not changed since 1850. We were soon cheered up by a breakfast stop at La Franchuteria, which served the best cappuccino and baguettes this side of Paris. On towards the accommodation: My gf was getting desperate, as we were heading deeper into the desert, away from town. We ended up on a donkey trail, with nothing but sand and brush and deep washboard surface. Since the car rental agency had warned us about crime in Calama, my gf berated me where I was taking her. After 5 minutes or so, we found the gate in the stone wall taking us into the accommodation. It was as if we had passed through purgatory past the gates of St. Peter. Ian greeted us there and introduced us to our new home, talking about how his mother had built it with love and care. We immediately fell in love with the hues and the setting. Sitting on the bed, you have a picture perfect view through the trees towards the volcanoes in the distance. The cottage was equipped with all you need and more. My gf immediately fell in love and thinks this is one of the best places we ever stayed. Ian continued to coach us on destinations, how to combat altitude sickness, and many other things.
