Sviterna på Himwitsa Lodge ligger i centrala Tofino och har vacker utsikt över Clayoquot Sound. Här finns en fiskbutik och ett lokalt konstgalleri. Everything- we loved it all. Unfortunately, we had a difficult journey to Tofino because of the road closure but felt very comforted to have support from Cathy and a very warm welcome when we did arrive. Accommodation was stunning and the facilities were great. Our balcony was so relaxing and we were able to enjoy the sunsets as well as watch the world go by. We were not disturbed at all during our stay but were very aware of the support around if needed. We had an amazing trip bear hunting and saw lots of additional interests in the area. We enjoyed take away fish and chips on the balcony and a beautiful meal at schooner restaurant. The gift shop at Himwitsa was beautiful and the smoked salmon next door too. We loved the local art gallery with beautiful art in relation to the First Nations heritage and the visit to Meares Island was very tranquil.

Quite, peaceful, clean. Room was large. Bed was comfortable. Staff (John) was super friendly, full of information and made a mean breakfast!

It’s privately managed by a lady. She owns it and you can see that and sense it throughout the property in the way it’s maintained .

Situated in Vancouver Island, this oceanfront resort offers access to two private beaches. A dining room is located on site offering set buffet menus on select nights. Breakfast was great, staff very friendly and helpful. Lodge was cozy and clean. Area was beautiful, the water is right beside the lodge. Really happy with my stay
