Located on Mamori River, Dolphin Lodge offers fishing, an on-site restaurant and a daily buffet breakfast. Me and my husband went for a mini honeymoon and we had an amazing and unforgettable experience! We had Dodó as our guide and Santiago as boat driver and they were the best, so knowledgeable and passionate about the Amazon! We had a lot of fun and learned a lot! Food was amazing and freshly cooked everyday. We got to eat the piranhas we fished the day before! Accommodation was better than expected, it really made a difference to have the AC in the room. We did have some insects and small frogs visiting us in the room but it was totally expected from being in the middle of the jungle and that didn´t bother us. We felt protected with the nets above the bed and didn´t hear a single mosquito during our sleep. It was very nice arriving from the activities and finding the beds done and net prepared for you with fresh towels everyday. Bring cash to spend at the bar and to buy art crafts from locals, they accept PIX but it´s hard to get wifi connection for that.
