Everything about this property is awesome! First of all, I so appreciated the welcome message and personal contact made by Wim, the host, as soon as I made the booking. He made everything so simple and stress-free with the open, easy contact we established. Right away he sent me links to his recommendations for restaurants, sites, activities, and more. He also gave me such useful and practical information on how to get from the train station to the property, and it was so helpful that I was able to leave my bag before check-in. Wim is so friendly and it was wonderful to chat with him about many different topics! He is such an interesting person!
The location of the property is prime! It’s right in the heart of everything yet a few steps down a quiet street away from any noise. It’s also very easy to locate! The property itself is beautiful, comfortable and impeccably clean! From the entryway to the room to the bathroom to the common area loft. I really appreciated the water left for me upon arrival, and having other beverages and snacks available in the loft for purchase is very convenient, as well as the refrigerator to keep them in. I have to say that Wim thinks of everything and does everything to perfection! I’m so glad I got to stay here!
Plenty of space, very clean facilities and a brilliant location. We like Ciepers Lodge. We appreciated the coffee machine, the free parking and the amount of space to relax in the house.
Very nice quiet location, but easily accessible by road . Absolutely immaculate inside in all areas . Every staff member helpful, polite , very welcoming. Really can’t rate this hotel highly enough. Very very impressed. The young lad at the reception and also in the restaurant was just so customer focused. I did many hotels on this trip away but Flanders Lodge Hotel was by far the best . Lovely hosts and cosy house to lodge in. Jeremy is the chef downstairs in his own restaurant. Easy when dining out and walking up to your room. Well located in the city centre and in walking distance of the beach, cultural casino and shopping if you like. Nice and passionate couple, Els and Jeremy. They make you feel at home. Parking can easily be done two streets down and can be paid with a mobile account.
We always stay at the Flanders Lodge when it is available, great location for our Ypres battlefield touring. Rooms are very good and the beds are vert comfortable.

Everything! We were in Full Moon lodge and we loved watching the bears and wolves. The rest of the zoo was great also. A few language barriers but still worth it.
A very nice experience to lodge on a boat. especially for a family with kids. very comfortable, kitchen with everything we needed, really nice.
