Zambezi Dusk, hotel in Livingstone

Nestled on the banks of the mighty Zambezi, Zambezi Dusk offers an enchanting escape with luxury safari tents blending the thrill of wildlife with supreme comfort.

Zambezi Dusk is located on a beautiful property with views of frequent visits from elephant, buffalo, and plains game right across the river. There is a spacious deck with various comfortable seating options for viewing wildlife, dining, or enjoying a drink. The food quality and presentation is that of what you would find at an upscale restaurant. We had some of our most favorite meals at Zambezi dusk and it was only 4 nights out of a 22 day stay! I can not say enough about the kitchen and wait staff! The game boat ride was a great bonus! All of the staff went above and beyond in many aspects, we can’t thank them enough. As far as location we loved that it was secluded and private exactly what we were looking for. The gardens and view from restaurant are better than pictures.

Room 1 was so beautiful (local touch, comfortable bed and good shower) It was the 40th birthday of my girlfriend. She was celebrated by the Lodge to the best with gifts and chocolate cake. The owner and the staff are really welcoming and supportive. They know all the activities in Zambia and beyond. They organize trips with professionalism with Off Road Safaris. The breakfast was below standard and you have to beg for it even if there is load shedding I believe hospitality industry use gas cookers to serve the guests efficiently with hot food. Most lodges and hotels i have been to they set the breakfast buffet so that as guests walk in they're served even the common chefing dishes did not have burners to keep food warm coming to the sausage they cut it in tiny pieces and it doesn't give appetite, I only had my breakfast the first morning

The whole experience at the lodge was above expectations! The staff was friendly and helpful, the lodge area and rooms where clean and the food was good in the lodge's restaurant and bar. The lodge can also arrange wide variety of activities such as sunset cruises and safaris with a decent price that start straight at the lodge. These were easy and hazzle-free way to see Livingstone and Victoria Falls area!
