Amazing location on the river, very peaceful and interesting - we enjoyed spotting hippos and crocodiles directly from our terrace. Karen set a sunset cruiser just for us, memorable experience away from crowds in Victoria Falls.
We wish we had stayed more than a simple night, and enjoyed the bbq facilities! Next time, thanks

The best thing the waterfront has going for them is the amazing view of the Zambezi river from their restaurant. They also have a company that can arrange activities for you right on their property, which is convenient. Not to forget, they have amazing cocktails.
The room comes with breakfast, which is a buffet style, and it wasn't bad at all.

The hotel is located at a distance from the city, closer to the Victoria Falls, in a rather picturesque place. It is run by a wonderful woman who has managed to create a good team. As soon as you head to the pool (which, by the way, offers a beautiful view), someone is already rushing there to check the cleanliness. Another person carries towels, another brings a fan to the room, everything works like a well-oiled machine. It is also worth noting the possibility of dining in the hotel restaurant and a good breakfast. The room is very clean, comfortable, and large. Honestly, we were very regretful that we spent only one night there. Thank you, Natasha!

Authentic experience
The breakfast was below standard and you have to beg for it even if there is load shedding I believe hospitality industry use gas cookers to serve the guests efficiently with hot food. Most lodges and hotels i have been to they set the breakfast buffet so that as guests walk in they're served even the common chefing dishes did not have burners to keep food warm coming to the sausage they cut it in tiny pieces and it doesn't give appetite, I only had my breakfast the first morning
The whole experience at the lodge was above expectations! The staff was friendly and helpful, the lodge area and rooms where clean and the food was good in the lodge's restaurant and bar. The lodge can also arrange wide variety of activities such as sunset cruises and safaris with a decent price that start straight at the lodge. These were easy and hazzle-free way to see Livingstone and Victoria Falls area!
We couldn't be happier with our decision to stay at The David Livingstone Safari Lodge. Our experience was fantastic. Beautiful hotel right on the Zambezi river, and all the staff were super friendly and helpful. An extra nice touch to receive a personal card from the team to wish us well on our honeymoon!
Beautiful lodge in nice location, Very tastefully decorated, clean, spacious rooms! Very helpful and pleasant staff! I like the fact that its run by a Zambian family (as opposed to many other lodges we visited)!
Keep up the good work! :)
