We had an exceptional experience during our stay at 57 Waterberg. The lodge is small, private, modern and beautiful. The modern design of the suites is a joy. The food is next level. The staff were, without exception, super friendly and professional. The spa in-room treatments are also excellent. The game drives were great. All in all we cannot imagine a better safari experience.
Stuart and his team are truly excellent.
Thank you 🙏🏻

Everything! This lodge is one of the best I have ever stayed in. From the food, to the safaris, to the staff, I have zero complaints. The rooms are amazing and very clean. Special thanks to Nkuli, Nadia, Moyo, Lydia, Martha, and Jan who made my stay extra special. I was welcomed/treated like family and was sad to leave. And Moyo is by far the most knowledgeable ranger/guide I have ever met. Will have to return one day so I can stay longer!

This was our best bushveld experience yet. The place is beautiful, the food was fantastic and the staff were so accommodating. In our short stay of two days we saw the big 5 with multiple viewings of lions on the hunt, including lions trying to catch a baby rhino (with no success). Our game ranger, Steven made every minute of the game drives fun with his knowledge of the bushveld and his passion for it. The best game ranger I’ve ever seen. Thank you Ekuthuleni you will definitely see us again!

Superb service from a great small team. Welgevonden is the most beautiful reserve I've ever seen and the sightings are spectacular, mostly due to Patrick's deep knowledge of the bush and the animals in it.

Our experience at Elephants crossing was great: we stayed in the villa which was very clean and beautiful, with a large patio overlooking the bush. I really liked that the lodge is small (max 12-14 guests I think), as we received outstanding service from all the staff and it felt a bit like being in a small community, it was very easy to get to know the other guests. Food is amazing: one of us was vegan and they accomodated perfectly her diet providing tasty and beautifully presented plant-based choices, not to be taken for granted in SA!! We had spectacular game drives throughout the 3 days of our stay with unbelievable sightings: Herbert is a great ranger and made our experience truly magical!

We had an amazing luxurious 2-night stay. It was the best stay we have ever had at a game lodge. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and special. The service is excellent provided by staff who are wonderfully warm and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The game drives with Wiseman, our guide, delivered new and exciting experiences including the big five. Delicious food at every meal and gorgeous views from stunning private rooms deliver on a quality luxury experience. We will definitely visit again. Highly recommended.
We had the privilege to stay at Sediba Luxury Safari Lodge over Easter weekend. Sediba was incredible, from the rooms to the game drives with Moyo. The staff absolutely amazing and could not have chosen a better place to get engaged!! Nadia and her team was incredible and thank you for an experience we will never forget!!
Everything was absolutely amazing! From the incredibly friendly and attentive staff, to the delicious, high-end restaurant quality meals and beautiful, very design forward lodges.
The safari outings were always full of surprises. It was made even better by our favourite expert - Ephram!
Thank you 57 Waterberg for an unforgettable experience ♥️
Magweti is a true magical place within the Private Welgevonden Game Reserve, about 250km north of JoBurg.
The location, the people, the lodges and the food all are all on a very high standard, but on a very intimate scale.
Excellent experience and service provided by the lodge team. All meals were great and on our request a dinner was adjusted to our wishes!
The Safari tours were amazing, Malvin took us through the Welgevonden parc and provided us an experience to remember for life.
Our visit to Shibula Solar Safari lodge far exceeded our expectations. The efficiency and professionalism of the staff, the beautiful setting of the lodge and the wonderful food served all added to an unforgettable stay. The Game drives were well planned and the depth of knowledge all species " animals and plants ' made for exceptional experiences
Honestly one of the best game lodges we've stayed at. From the warmth of the staff to the comfiness of the rooms (best bed/ linen ever), there was nothing we didn't love. We will be going back again and again! Because it's a smaller lodge (only 5 rooms) it feels like home. The lodge was very accommodating to us and we couldn't have had a better weekend. Steven, our ranger, was excellent (even in a hair-raising situation with a rhino)!
Makweti is stunning. The decor is exceptionally tasteful and African; the food is restaurant standard and the staff are so helpful. My wife and I have been fortunate enough to stay in many different Safari lodges but this one has easily been the best so far. The guide, Neil, is superb and individualised the drives to suit the needs of guests whilst passing on his 24 years worth of experience. A truly special place - we will go back.
We had a wonderful experience at the Nedile Lodges. The safari drives were incredible; we saw three big five within touching distance! The room was luxuriously spacious, with the most breathtaking view. The food was scrumptious. The service was unbelievable; every staff member we encountered, from the rangers to the cleaning staff, was knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to help! They all went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.
World class service and accommodation. We really liked the traditional thatch roof lodges, but with very modern touches - including white linen and white towels. The housekeeping team were fantastic, with the rooms cleaned almost every time we left them.
The food was exceptional - so unique and diverse across all 4 days that we were there.
Our game ranger, Joseph, was exceptionally knowledgeable and so polite. He made a huge effort to make sure we had the best safari possible.
The view from both the restaurant and the rooms is incredible.
