Very nice lodge where the staff makes all the difference: it is run by two very friendly ladies who are very welcoming and extremely knowledgeable about the local area. Breakfast is a very nice buffet with the option to pre-order hot dishes. We only did that the first day, as the buffet itself was nice enough. Room was very well equipped and had a very nice and large terrace. Easy parking and secure environment.

We have recently stayed at Umlilo Lodge during our trip to South Africa and we enjoyed every minute of it. The hotel is a green oasis, the room was perfect and the people working there were all very friendly and helpful. They helped us book excursions that we wanted to do and the meal and breakfasts we had at Umlilo were very tasty. We could easily walk to town as well for dinner in the evening. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever in the region!

We were given three rooms for far apart so we has to travel up n down when we wanted to see each other
room 1 was unlockable we realised that a wallet is missing on our way back home when we wanted to buy.
At room 6 a toilet was leaking in such a way that the sleepers got wet n this was reported but not resolved
One lady whom i think was a mananger when we told her about our experience she had an attitude in such a way that she added up telling us to report that online

I had a wonderful stay at Leopard Corner Lodge. The rooms were clean, and the breakfast was amazing. The staff was incredibly accommodating, guiding us to available safari trails and providing tips on viewing the town. Highly recommend!
The place was phenomenal and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. The staff were truly amazing and friendly. A special mention of Nosipho, she is super friendly and helpful. We celebrated our first wedding anniversary and the staff really went all out to decorate the room for us. We wouldn’t mind going back to Monzi Safari Lodge!!!!
Super cute lodge, you feel home as soon as you enter, pool surrounded by trees...Feels like holidays as soon as you arrive.
Nosipho, who is part of the staff, was very kind and helped us straight away in booking the safaris' experiences for Hluhluhwe-Imfolosi and Isimangaliso parks. Even before we arrived, she advised us on the best road to take (and not to take) and shared the load sheeding schedule.
Very few lodges hence it's quiet, and nice to walk around.
Great location in the centre so lots of restaurants all though the restaurant at Hippo lodge was fantastic. Excellent breakfast too. Nice pool to relax in after a day of Safari.
Thanks Andrè for this stay. Andrè is a great host, very enthusiastic, responsive, flexible and communicative. The apartement is wonderful and Andrè organizes all for our activities (safari / boat tour on the estuary etc...). We only statys 2 nights but Santa Lucia is clearly a place where would have like to stay more to enjoy the beautiful outside installations of the lodge and to make an additional escape to Cape Vidal. Clearly a place to be ! Thanks again.
We stayed here for 4 days and it was a great choice: the house is very pretty, our room wasn't big but had everything we needed and very nicely furnished. The lodge is located on a quiet picturesque street. The breakfasts are very tasty! Huge thanks to Jaden for the constant help! She helped us to arrange the safari tour and it was one of the best memories of our trip! I wish Jaden and the Sandpiper all the best!
Loved the south african authenticity of the lodges. Breakfast was good with a wide variety, the breakfast muffins were absolutely delicious. Pool area was clean and spacious.
