A Slice of Coastal Paradise This place is an absolute gem! Nestled by the sea, it offers a chance to reconnect with nature and leave behind the hustle of daily life. There’s a grounding energy here, a reminder of life’s simple joys and the beauty of the natural world. We stayed in the sea-facing cottage, which was perfectly equipped and incredibly comfortable. It’s the kind of place where you can unwind, free from any pretenses—just pure relaxation. One unique feature: the cottage has only an outdoor shower. At first, I was a little hesitant, but by the end of our stay, it was what I missed most! There’s nothing quite like a warm shower in the open air, with the gentle seaside breeze drifting by—pure bliss. Some might be concerned about local geckos, but we found them to be a delightful part of the experience. One or two make an appearance, keeping the odd mosquito at bay. It’s all part of the natural balance here, a small reminder that nature isn’t something to fear but to appreciate. You’re truly paying for the experience and the unbeatable location. Everything you need is right here, and Woolies Dash even delivers if you want added convenience. There’s no need to go anywhere else—dolphin sightings, fishing, and beachcombing are just a few steps away. October weather was comfortable, and we didn’t miss having aircon; the sea breeze kept things pleasant. If you’re looking for luxury amenities like air conditioning, TVs, and room service, a high-rise hotel may be a better fit. But if you want to destress and enjoy an authentic seaside retreat, this is the place to be. It’s serene, laid-back, and perfect for those who prefer a peaceful escape. October was delightfully quiet, but for those wanting extra solitude, it’s worth checking availability during busier months like December when campers and beach house guests might also be around.
