The staff and location were amazing. There are only a few huts so you really do get a 5* personal service. The guides have great knowledge about the site and speak very knowledgable about the area, flora, forna and animals. It takes me a few days to wind down normally on holiday, it happened here right away, it’s just so relaxing!

Amazing host! Beautiful bushveld with mountain views. The lodge is part of a working farm with cattle, buffalo's, etc. You cannot ask for a better weekend away. You feel part of it all and I was sad to leave.

When we got there, check in took a bit of time due to stolen electricity cables. We managed to check in after two hours of waiting at the lodge, the Manager was there trying to attend to the matter and he was keeping us up to date.
From the moment we got there we were treated like roalty al the way to the end. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Our game drive and bush picnic was exceptional. The food is amazing and the cocktails was the best. We will certainly visit Monate Game Lodge again in the future.

Exceptional luxury! Neat, friendly professional staff. Game drive was breathtaking and guide went the extra mile to show us the best spots! Dinner and Lunch was of gourmet quality. Lodge is so peaceful and we felt so spoiled.

Beautiful place giving you a safari feeling. Nice to explore the different gardens and walkways. Outdoor activities, cold pool, and tennis courts. There is a restaurant on site, so no worries about eating out.
The environment was so peaceful and welcoming. The lodge is situated far from the madding crowd and is very serene. Rooms are very clean & all what we needed was available.Thumbs up to the staff and management for their impeccable service from when we arrived. The breakfast was superb. Thanks for the extra special care for my grandmother 😁. Definitely recommend this place.
Friendly people, who will go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable, happy and at home. I have never experienced such good service at any accommodation like we did at Mothopo Game Lodge. The facilities were neat and clean and it felt like home away from home. Nothing was too much to ask and they even arranged special picnic for my husband's 50th birthday. We will definitely be back.
