Our one night stay was amazing! We loved it the minute we arrived until we left. The room was so comfortable with a lot of space, with everything we needed. Beautifus surroundings with animals, kids loved to spend time with Whisper and Secret, the 2 horses. Food was delicious!! We highly recommend this lodge, Jean and his family will welcome you and let you feels like at home!

Wonderful spacious 3-bed lodge perfect for our family. Game drives were close to a full safari experience. They kindly arranged a guide just for the 6 of us as we had small children with us (5 & 2). Food excellent including a delivery to your lodge option which was great after a tiring day. Saw nearly all bid 5 plus a cheetah.

Absolutely unique in every way. Gorgeous big lodges right in the game drive with log burning fires. The guides work so hard here to ensure everyone has the best time, much appreciated.

we really enjoyed the lodge area and the safaris. We only stayed for one night but hoped we could have extended by another night. The view and atmosphere is great and the staff is super friendly.

Such a beautiful location. The Kwena lodges and the pool with the firepit and the restaurant is all just dreamy. Wildlife roams right up to the accommodations. When we arrived, there were zebras in the carpark. We also came across a buffalo on our way back from dinner to the cottage. We were with our 3 year old, and were accommodated with another young family for a game drive at no extra cost. The game drive was good, but I don't think there's a huge amount of game on the reserve to see.

Truly an exceptional experience - the lodges are beautiful with incredible views, the landscape is vast and stunning, and getting so respectfully close to the animals was unforgettable: we saw the Big 5 within the first two of our game drives thanks to our great guide Felix, a total pro. Best choice among all the many reserves!

Gondwana is a very special place. A real feel of wilderness so close to Cape Town and the garden route. The food is exceptional, the service friendly and attentive, the huts are comfortable and well fitted out. We had good game drives with plenty of animal interactions but even if you saw no, so called, big 5 the scenery is beautiful. We were visited by the elephants on our second afternoon, apparently they visit the lodges occasionally and this close encounter will be a lasting memory.
