I liked the garden and the pool, and the atmosphere, in general, was excellent. The house is as advertised on booking.com. Breakfast was a highlight for me. The hosts are so friendly. I struggled to find the place, so I arrived at the hotel at 11:12 pm. Chris waited for me, and I checked in.
Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
Although the older of the two airport City Lodges, it’s been renovated and across looks newer than the City Lodge O R Tambo. With less foot traffic too, being much smaller, it is less frenetic, more peaceful.
Perfect stay like always. Whenever I am in Johannesburg I stay in the Airport Game Lodge. Super friendly staff, nice large rooms and a lush and beautiful garden.
I normally never write reviews about my stay in other lodges because often I am disappointed by what I find. On this occassion however, I thought I will write because the place has exceeded my expectations. It's quiet, comfortable, more like home away from home. The food was great and staff attentive.

I loved every thing about this precious hidden gem. I won't call it a hotel or resort. For me it's home. The staff were amazing. Want to give aloud shout for Thomas. Within 5 mins of interaction with Thomas I was blessed and knew am at the right place. Thank you Thomas for spending time with me. You are amazing.

I didn't sleep at this lodged. The place was so dirty,noisy and it seemed like a brothel. I couldn't see myself lodging at that filthy place. I asked for a refund. Still waiting their cancelation procedure.
