We were able to see all the Big Five animals up close, including a leopard eating an antelope.
We stayed 3 nights and it was perfect since when you are trying to find the cats, you probably won’t see other big animals.
Respect, our guide, and Ringo, our tracker, were amazing. They made the game drives unforgettable.
The food was sensational, with all meals served à la carte and daily menus featuring exquisite dishes.

This property is incredible! The rooms were stunning and so large. I had no idea how amazing the safari rides would be- Justice and Elvis did such an amazing job at making us feel safe and finding/getting up close to the big 5. The service is impeccable- Tinyiko our server was so kind and we felt so cared for. I wasn’t expecting much for the food- due to it being all inclusive- but it was absolutely amazing quality, ingredients and preparation.

Leandra & her staff were AMAZING! We stayed 8 nights for our honeymoon & she did a tremendous job along w/her son & her staff of 20 yrs. (Munya & Joyce). Mateo, Level 3 tracker, & Robert were fabulous & we were able to see the BIG 5. We saw the big 4 in 2 days but saw the elusive leopard on our last day. The food, service, BBQ, were some of the best food we had tasted as her chef served ip sumptuous meals & the tent was luxe for sure! We looked @ Kapama first but they were super-pricey & crowded. We were able to get customized service & get to know the staff. We did day trips: Panaroma Route to see the 3rd largest canyon in the world & Jabulani, the orphan elephant sanctuary which were highlights!

I like the modern and minimalist design of the lodge. The room is very spacious with bath tub and indoor and outdoor showers. The staff is very helpful and packed breakfast for us for a super early hot air balloon right.

That was one of the best hotel experiences that I ever had. The place was very clean, very pretty, the room is big, there s a beautiful pool and everything you need. Butttt the food was insane. I had one of the best meal of my life at the dinner. It’s so fresh and so good! I would came back to eat all the time, it’s like you are in a fancy restaurant for a couple of days. Beside the host are THE MOST AMAZING host that you will ever met. Simone and Morne are super careful, super thoughtful, it changes completely our Kruger experience. What can I said? The staff was excellent the rangers "Panic" and "God Send" were excellent we managed to see the Big Five. I enjoyed the food. And have everthing included was very nice. And I would like to point out a staff mamber named "Erasmus" he is a true asset to the lodge with the various language that he speaks fluently wow he is made for the hospitallity industry

Exceptional service in an exceptional location. once you’ve done a safari in a private reserve you will never look back, and this is the best lodge in the best reserve. Made to feel very special, all the staff knew our names from the moment we arrived. Game drives all stunning, good fabulous and nothing was too much trouble. already plotting our return, and this time we will bring friends and family to share it with. Justice and Elvis were the best of hosts on the game drives.
Incredible service from the time we arrived until we had left. We were lucky enough to spot the big 5 in just two game drives and witnessed a lion hunt. The open safari experience was exhilarating in comparison to other 5 star lodges visited previously. The staff are so friendly and welcoming! The luxury tent was superb in every aspect, exactly as advertised. Food was delicious and my husband is vegetarian so his meals were also well catered for and divine.
We also tried the River Lodge Spa, this was one of the finest spas I have been too.
The Kapama Game Reserve is the best cost benefit Lodge in Hoespruit! Everything is well organized and carefully planned. They pick you up at the airport, give you all the support during the stay and prepare the schedule perfectly for you to enjoy a memorable Safari Game, swimming pool, gym and meals in there. I spent my honeymoon and I couldn't chose any other place. All the team are so friendly and kind that I am sure I will be there a second time.
Its a fantastic private reserve, easily accessible from the Airport with well organised private transfers. You can enjoy a lodge experience here, as well as a boutique hotel feel if you prefer. A perfect balance - the rangers and trackers are excellent, we saw the Big 5, smaller animals and a wonderful array of birds - great safari experience.
