I liked the pool and location only. The place is unsafe due to stairs. Not user friendly fir adults

A Slice of Coastal Paradise
This place is an absolute gem! Nestled by the sea, it offers a chance to reconnect with nature and leave behind the hustle of daily life. There’s a grounding energy here, a reminder of life’s simple joys and the beauty of the natural world. We stayed in the sea-facing cottage, which was perfectly equipped and incredibly comfortable. It’s the kind of place where you can unwind, free from any pretenses—just pure relaxation.
One unique feature: the cottage has only an outdoor shower. At first, I was a little hesitant, but by the end of our stay, it was what I missed most! There’s nothing quite like a warm shower in the open air, with the gentle seaside breeze drifting by—pure bliss.
Some might be concerned about local geckos, but we found them to be a delightful part of the experience. One or two make an appearance, keeping the odd mosquito at bay. It’s all part of the natural balance here, a small reminder that nature isn’t something to fear but to appreciate.
You’re truly paying for the experience and the unbeatable location. Everything you need is right here, and Woolies Dash even delivers if you want added convenience. There’s no need to go anywhere else—dolphin sightings, fishing, and beachcombing are just a few steps away. October weather was comfortable, and we didn’t miss having aircon; the sea breeze kept things pleasant.
If you’re looking for luxury amenities like air conditioning, TVs, and room service, a high-rise hotel may be a better fit. But if you want to destress and enjoy an authentic seaside retreat, this is the place to be. It’s serene, laid-back, and perfect for those who prefer a peaceful escape. October was delightfully quiet, but for those wanting extra solitude, it’s worth checking availability during busier months like December when campers and beach house guests might also be around.

Fantastic cottages, modern and well equipped, with superb view on the gorge and the pool. We cannot recommend enough to book with Chef Ed and taste his culinary delights.
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
The views from Silverstreams Lodge and Cottages are breathtaking. This is a little slice of heaven with all the creature comforts you could wish for. Beautiful layout. The Lodge is really spacious and has all the luxury touches, The cottages, though smaller, have equally stunning views, thoughtful layout for comfort and leisure. Great wifi connection and DSTV for those who want it. We also had the most incredible, delicious breakfast buffet. But really it is all about the quiet, majestic beauty of the gorge. Truly spoiled.
Beautiful location overlooking Oribi Gorge with an infinity pool out the front (if you book the 10 person Lodge). Really well equipped with outdoor braai and fire pit and everything you needed to cook. There is a team onsite who are available all the time for anything you need. A wonderful place to visit.
What a lovely place! We were sad we only had one night there because it truly is an exceptional place to stay. The Lodge is absolutely beautiful and the location breath taking. We were met by lovely Diana who gave us the warmest of welcomes. We will definitely try and get back to this wonderful place when visiting South Africa again. Highly recommended.
Beautiful views, kind and accommodating hosts, the lodge had everything you could want or need. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and we can't wait to come back again.
