Small, pretty lodge in Ermelo. No frills and quite basic room but A perfect stopping place for a road trip to the south coast. Has a wonderful restaurant serving a variety of food. And very friendly and helpful staff.
Enjoyed this peaceful farm lodge away from the traffic. Lovely views from the room over the farm with various buck grazing. Woke to zebra outside as well. Very pleasant dinner and breakfast. The dirt road to the farm has just been re-done and was good. The R65 approach does have potholes but really not a problem. Welcoming staff, a friendly atmosphere.
It was raining the time of our stay, so we didn't spend the night at 44 on Ennis. The manager was so nice and asked us to spend the night at iZimbali lodge
