Looking for a lodge?
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.

We always return to Colesview Lodge because the accommodation is very comfortable and the breakfast also very good. The parking is also very secure and safe. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We needed a doctor very urgently and were helped very quickly to see a doctor. Always recommended.

Stunning location on the banks of the Orange River. The lodge we stayed in was beautifully decorated and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. The staff were very friendly and the place was warm with heaters, electric blankets and an indoor fireplace ready for lighting on arrival. We stayed here as an overnight stop on the way to Cape Town but could have easily stayed for longer. Looks like it would be amazing in summer too with the infinity pool!

This is an amazing lodge in all respects. We had a lovely dinner and an excellent breakfast. The staff is very friendly and well-trained. I especially wish to commend Jerome Rouls for his attention to our needs and requirements. He is a superb host. I enjoyed the sound of horses on the farm and the beautiful Karoo surroundings. The pet friendliness is also appreciated. We shall go back there for a longer stay. Excellent.

Tzamenkomst is a fantastic lodge right on the Orange River. We liked the fact that our accommodation was outside of the main lodge and away in a gorgeous spot by itself. The farm surrounding the lodge has wild buck and MTB routes to enjoy, this was a pleasant surprise.

Everything at the lodge was excellent. The view over the river was beautiful. We stayed at the stable and it was very comfortable and well equipped. The enormous bed and soft pillows was the cherry 🍒 on top.

I have stayed at this lodge on many occasions and have found the facilities to be more than adequate for a comfortable overnight stay. Stayed in room 2 this time and everything was in order.

Safe lodging and secure parking. Got an upgraded room which was great. Spacious. Good bathroom. DSTV channels a nice bonus. Reasonably quiet.
