The owner and staff were very welcoming and very friendly right throughout the stay. Breakfast was tasty. Rooms were comfortable. Location was great as it was so central to everything, the town and also hike entrances. I'd definitely come back to Ash River Lodge.

The lodge was comfortable and accommodated the cold of the town by providing an electric blanket, which was very much appreciated. The breakfast was also good with friendly staff who communicate exceptionally.

Excellent setting, value for money, great staff, and the facilities and activities were all wonderful. The rooms and the entire Lodge were spotlessly clean as well. I had been to similar holiday venues in the past but this was head and shoulders above all of the others!

I had a wonderful stay at the lodge, I loved it from the moment I walked in. I received a very warm welcome from the host and the staff were very friendly and professional. The lodge has breathtaking views and a well taken care of garden. My room was cosy and had everything I needed. With the price I paid, the lodge definitely exceeded my expectations.

Self catering so the kitchen appliances, utensils, cutlery and crockery was perfect and I felt like I was in my own kitchen. The location was clean, nice and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the main town. Loved the big (compared to the tiny TVs you get at other lodges/hotels) clear Samsung TV. I didn't mind the lack of interaction with the owner/reception because they are quick to respond on the phone.

The two Lodges or houses are beautiful. The view is to die for and the host, Linda was exceptional.
