Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
The bedroom was exceptional as was the bathroom. The lounge was delightful. Loved the dining room and the food was spot on the mark. Themba (chef) prepared the best meal of the 40 day tour for my wife! The game viewing stands were fun and a breakfast visit from the herd of Sable Antelopes was awesome. If you are within 200km of this lodge then GO HERE and make your stay for at least two nights (I wish we had). This will be mandatory stay on our next trip to RSA, and hopefully in warmer days
What an amazing bush location amidst a small place like Brits Town. They were also quite accommodating to move our booking dates as we rescheduled.
Perfect farmhouse set-up with comfy lodging facilities. Must definitely stopover on your way back from Cpt to Jhb. The dinner and breakfast options were quite enjoyable.
Beautiful scenery, rooms are lovely and spacious.
The service can be improved, simple value adds that won't cost money, like assisting the luggage offload.
Waiters at the restaurant are great but will benefit from a little training on attention to detail when taking and serving orders.
Contingencies for load shedding and poor water pressure should be in place, but didn't spoil our stay.
Really beautiful boutique farm lodge, we'll be back
The most stunning location. Gorgeous views. The rooms are all individually decorated with impeccable taste. Staff are very friendly and helpful. And the food was delicious! We stayed on our way up to Zimbabwe and were upgraded to the lodge which was beautiful. Would love to visit again.
Stunning lodge!! The most beautiful set up and decor everywhere. The host was extremely helpful and so accommodating. Our stay as a family was exceptional! would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone!

How does it work?
1
It starts with a booking
It starts with a booking
The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
Followed by a trip
Followed by a trip
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.
3
And finally, a review
And finally, a review
After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.
