Newly renovated lodge with nice views across the river into the game reserve. Excellent game drives and guide (Thomas). Professional and friendly staff. Plenty of food! Inclusion of all drinks included in our tariff was a nice surprise.
Service and experience are incredible. The staff at the lodge is very friendly, food was outstanding and the morning and evening game drive are fantastic.
Nkomazi was exceptional in every way. The Lodge itself was lovely, with excellent and abundant meals. The staff was terrific, especially our ranger, Vicky. We were pleased that the Reserve respected the ecology of the wildlife, both animals and plants, rather than making it exciting for tourists.
Loved the fact it was an easy 3.5hr trip from Jhb and located in a very serene part of the Lowveld. The lodge is lovely, staff super and the food great. Loved the little high tea in the afternoons!
Dawsons Lodge by far exceeded our expectations.
The rooms are just luxury waiting to be experienced. Large and well decorated - one of the biggest rooms we have ever stayed in. Bathroom with shower and bath, and even a walk in closet. Loved the bay window seat.

Our patio had a wonderful view of the mountains. Breakfast, lunch and dinner - well prepared and presented with a wide variety of choice.
The friendly staff made this really an awesome experience.

From the time we stepped into the lodge until the last step on leaving was magical. The staff,hospitality,accommodation,food,care and game drives the reserve itself filled us with so much joy. If you love the bush...this is one beautiful game reserve to visit before you leave the planet.....
