Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
Very nice spot at the beginning of the main street in Mai Chau. Located at a small lake in the middle of rice fields and close to nearby villages such as Lac Village, Mai Chau Lodge is a great place to stay at in one of the most beautiful places on earth
The beautiful room and views of the area.
The bathtub was fun to use.
The tours we did to The lake and Pu Luong with Vuong were awesome.
The bike rides around the villages was a lovely way to see the sights from up close.
The local food was yummy.
The flowers, bees and butterflies are beautiful.
The Lodge staff were always smiling and helpful. The help with transfers and tours was much appreciated.
Thank you. We had a wonderful time.
The hotel is located in a small village about 20 kilometres from Mai Chau, which is why we booked it. We wanted to stay in a quiet and remote area and we really liked it. We cycled to Mai Chau one day; scenic landscape, simply fantastic. The bungalows are very nice, food was very good and eveyone super friendly. We had great fun with the three dogs, who are absolutely adorable.
The property is located in the center of the Mai Chau, next to rice fields. We had a spacious mountain/field facing lodge and admired the view from the room every morning. Exploring the area by bicycle (free rental) was a great experience for us. The staff was kind and hopeful. We enjoyed breakfasts and dinners every day - great selections of traditional dishes. They even offered a traditional dance show after dinner, and I enjoyed taking a part in the dance with other guests. Lovely place !
We spent 4 days at the Ecolodge and were charmed by the resort, the staff and surroundings. Our deluxe room was spacious, attractively furnished, with its own private pool and stunning view over the rice fields. The meals were wonderful and very reasonably priced. The staff were a delight and the evening traditional dance show a highlight. We enjoyed cycling and walking around the nearby villages. Highly recommended!
The breakfast was delicious and the best part was that we could rent bicycles anytime without a reservation. Cycling around the hotel was a great experience!
Be sure to read the signage on the property about the meaning and core values of EcoLodge!
We booked the suite with valley view, and it was amazing! the room and the views.
The restaurant was very good, we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner and it was great!
The workers were so nice and knew English well.
The ecolodge itself was well kept and beautiful.
We enjoyed our stay very much, would recommend to others.
