Everything! We absolutely loved our stay here! Roadrunner Lodge Motel is located on the original Route 66, and offers a backwards glimpse of a simpler time. We didn’t want to leave this very happy place-owners CJ and David made sure of that! Both are very welcoming and totally committed to their guests.

This Econo Lodge was a little ways from the Historic parts of town so I wouldn't say it is easy "walking distance" The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were only just traveling through. We arrived late at night and left pretty early in the morning. It met our needs, expectations, and the accommodations were comfortable and pretty "roomy" too.

I want Tucumcari to make a comeback. The original Rt. 66 is filled with iconic travel lodges that have been long abandoned. It was right off the Interstate and there was a restaurant attached that was pretty good. The bar needed help.

Breakfast was fine, location great. Good people working there. I especially like that last December when we went to the wrong Econolodge 60 miles away they let us cancel and transfer- late in the evening.

The Roadrunner Lodge was like taking a step back in time, but with all the modern day comforts. The special touches of vintage items and retro decor made you feel like you woke up in the 60's traveling along Route 66. A fun place to stay!
