The old time look of the rooms and just the view as you walk out the room is amazing, there’s a restaurant there on the property, I had breakfast there before i checked out in the morning. Also there was a saloon and liquor store on property so that was pretty cool and i definitely enjoyed the kettles in the room with the cups those where so cute I was going to buy one before I left and i totally forgot, I loved that yall had full bottles of shampoo and conditioner/ body wash /hand soap that’s the first time I have ever seen that and you could purchase them, they smelled so good. The lobby has coffee and HOT COCO available 24/7 if I’m not mistaken and I must say i definitely took advantage of that! I also stayed at the 49er hotel and i definitely regret checking out of the VirGinian, The Virginian is so cozy and roomy. The room and restroom was way bigger than the room I had at the 49er hotel, I don’t like to be in a crowded place and 49er wasn’t for me, my visit was during the winter and I plan on going back when there is warmer weather!

We loved the location was central to everything we wanted to do in our vacation as well as the view was beautiful!
Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
The people are what make the Snake River Lodge so special. The concierge David Davidson is best. He is so knowledgeable and goes out of his way to help guests find the best activities/ restaurants/ recommendations . Zaida, Roger, Giobanni and all of the crew are always there to help!
Location is fantastic! This is the closest hotel to the Tram and is very handy to the other lifts.
Alpenhoff Hotel has just been acquired by the Snake River Lodge which is located next door. Good buffet was available by walking next door.
Location of Teton Lodge is great, a short walk to the tram. Easy walk to the restaurants around the village. The restaurant inside the Lodge is also solid - great food and good place to watch sports. Free parking right across the street for Lodge guests is very convenient. Hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful - we felt very welcome. Clean room, good value.
The location was excellent. The rooms were comfortable and clean. I don't understand peoples' comments about being dated. It's a ski lodge. What did they expect?
Jackson Hole is an expensive town and The Hostel was one of the cheapest option. The room was pretty decent given the price, it was only a short 15 min drive away from town so it ain't that bad. I liked that hot drinks were provided in the lobby, though we have to go during their opening hours (7.30am - 12am).
Personally I didn't explore the immediate area around the hostel as I only used it for lodging purposes, so I can't comment much.
tons of character and great vibe. old school ski lodge.
