The cabin is cute and next to a lake. The location is convenient. Close enough to drive back and forth to the little town of Talkeetna. It was nice to have a small refrigerator, coffee maker, cups (with coffee/tea, etc!) and microwave. The bed was comfy too.

The cabin was cute outside with my name on door welcoming me. Beds were comfortable and cabin warm. Only about 4 miles from town. Host was very nice and offered to refund money if we wanted to find other accommodations.

The cabin was cozy, clean, and comfortable. We had to move from one cabin to another to get an extra night stay. The managers were very accommodating. Loved sitting at the picture window looking at the beautiful trees.
Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
LOVED this lodge. I stayed at 7 locations across Alaska, this was the best by far.
Perfect location, homely common area with books and a TV etc, SUPER comfortable beds, cabins felt so cosy, fun Alaskan themed decor made it feel like a home and not just a hotel; the staff went out of their way to allow us to check in very late by leaving a friendly personalised note. You can wander down to the banks of the Susitna River to the most spectacular Denali view.
Cannot recommend this Lodge enough!
Beautiful are and under 100$! We were winging it while traveling. Called the lodge for availability and pricing, $500. Sure glad we kept looking because we found this hidden gem!!
The views were amazing.
When we arrived, however, after the designated check in time, we discovered our room was filthy and not even cleaned. They did move us to another room. There was no air conditioning and the room was very hot even with the fan provided. Staff was indifferent, food was very expensive. I received a phone call three different times from the lodge after I left stating I didn’t pay. I was able to retrieve my receipt from booking.com and prove otherwise. Just not a good experience.
This is a great location to see Mt Denali (conditions permitting) and the Alaska Range. You can't really see Mt Denali when in the national park. The lobby feels like a old-time national park lodge.
The lodge was very welcoming and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had everything we needed, for our stay. It was great to have pick up from the train station and ride into town. Enjoyed the river view
EVERYTHING! it was a charming little lodge right beside a river. our cabin had everything we would need. cute and cozy. the staff was friendly and helpful. the bed and bedding were divine!peaceful and perfect. we wish we had more time♥️
